Helloooo guys, welcome to part 2 of my Roadtrip through Japan series! We camped at Mount Fuji and let me tell you: it was soooo cold - i still don't know if it really was worth it :D But the view were definitely amazing!
Ooh I see you got some nice shots of Fuji-san! Camping at Lake Motosu must be such nice vibes, I've been wanting to go there since I saw it in Yuru Camp :D Lily's shower story was super funny lol
Spent 6 weeks camping at the foot of Mt.Fuji . There was an Japanese Army base that we did our winter military training . Wasn't to bad but we had all our needs met courtesy of the US Govt . our employer . Not much around Fuji at the time as it wasn't yet inundated with tourists like today. We just took the train into a large city if we had a couple of days free. After the training exercise we would sail back to our home base on Okinawa. Found the Japanese to be very polite (of course) and the folks living around Mt.Fuji seemed to be used to our visits with a passing curiosity of seeing American Marines . No Go Pro footage but great photos of Fuji and Tokyo etc.. But then again this was in 1971 . 😝 High adventure as long as there was no shooting.😉
