that is great audio, so cool that you can get great audio with those mics, i like that you can use them on multiple devices - GoPro not wanting to pair is madness. great video buddy. nice one.

I feel like the tech influencers are gaslighting tf outta us. The Bluetooth recording sounds terrible which is totally understandable, but anyone raving about the quality is sus to me.

Which again... is totally fine and to be expected. Bluetooth quality just isn't there yet. But telling me that it's great when I have two functioning ears is crazy. lol I wouldn't even make a phone call with that type of quality, let alone use it for content creation.@@videoeditingsecrets

@@ThatChothe mic 2 connectors to the Pocket 3 and Action 4 via Bluetooth too and sound great. The phone isn’t the only non DJI camera it connects to but also the same problem. Really annoying the internal record is disabled when connected to the iPhone or non DJI camera.

@@ZanderRound very kind. I am trying to figure out what’s going on with the quality drop. I am going to analyse the audio but I am guessing it’s only getting 16khz. The lack of internal recording too makes me wonder if it’s a deliberate limitation when not using DJI cams. I’ve asked DJI direct so will find out soon enough. Plugging in the receiver totally takes away from the simplicity that using a transmitter directly gives you.

@@philipbloom I’d be interested to know too when you find out, I thought it sounded fine to me and at least usable but compared to using it with the pocket 3 and action 4 there is obviously a limitation somewhere

Great video. I just bought the transmitter, stand alone. The internal is recording 24bit. Is there a way of changing that as I don't have the receiver? Thanks

Hi thanks for the info, I ordered one today, despite knowing dissapointingly that it is a mono mike, how do I know that ? because BMC apps hows only one channel LED meter flicker. So the question is can this iphone handle 2 of these and can BMC intelligently assign 2nd mike to the vacant right channel. Which leads to my next question, in Prores you can have 4 audio channels so to repeat the same idea, could we get 4 mikes workinin iphone 15/BMC app ? if so that would make this a cool alternative to using external recorder. The downside is , that even with two mic IF working, ther could be latency, especially if hoping for a stereo soundfield in post. Do you have access to test this idea out perhaps ? thanks

I record golf vlogs. I’m worried about the tripod blowing over and the receiver snapping in my iPhone. Do you know if the receiver can be attached to my iPhone via a 3.5 to lightning adapter wire? This way I can still use the receiver, but I can fix it to the tripod, minimising the risk of it snapping if knocked?

¡Hola! Iphone no permite conectar audio a su app camara y las aplicaciones al iniciar grabación deshabilita la reducción de ruido. Parece que es una restricción a la IA de DJI MIC 2. ESto ocurre a pesar de que se compra como Audio for IPHONE. ¿Publicidad engañosa o salió el producto antes de tiempo del horno? Puede ser que Apple no permite que una IA china se conecte a su celular, en este momento Black magic app no permite o desactiva la reducción de ruido apenas se inicia la grabación

Oh my god it sounds so horrible, for a second I was worried that’s how bad the microphone is, but I suppose it’s the Bluetooth codec.

Mmm I am planning to get this only for internal record. Later connect with cable to iPhone then transfer the audio. Hope that will work.

I am able to record on the Black magic, but in the ''media' in playback i hear nothing (correct source chosen). SO I save as and I can play back in apple app with sound. Is there something in black magic i have turned off so i cant hear the audio?

Simply turn of dji mic and you can hear sound in media’s video. Or, save video directly to photo app. without turning off dji mic. and see it with sound.

Can some one pleeeease test this mics inside of a club! Like loud music. Most of my recordings are from when i dj inside clubs. The internal mic on the insta360 sucks. I tried a cheap one from Amazon and works a but better bit ive been wanting to buy this but just not sure if is going to pick a decent spund when is loud and bassy

better screen, better low light, more slowmo capabilities, better tracking I'd say screen is the biggest deal, Pocket 2 is already great,

I would spend more time with the Pocket 2 based on you saying you haven’t really broke it in. As a Professional Shooter looking to have a small pocketable camera on me for those non planned moments that would be unsafe or more a hassle to setup, this one has incredible USABLE features. This is certainly useable as a personal travel camera, get you into more places without losing quality. The Mic 2 alone is worth a huge portion of the value, but again do you need the solutions it provides. The fact that this will probably become a hit as a near perfect WebCam. The new tracking is next level and gives more confidence in this version versus the past ones. If you are a casual user, it may not make sense to move up. The Bigger Sensor means more light available to your image or footage… Night time shots will look better less noise in your image. If you shoot with Bigger Cameras the Pocket 3 with 4K 10-Bit will allow you to match this footage with more expensive Cameras worth 3 to 5 times the cost of the Pocket 3. I worth the upgrade if you see yourself using it, for a new user… At this price point there’s nothing better on the current market.
