Great video! But I just figured out for me it was a plugin on my Master fader that needed a license update. Check your plugins if this didn't fix it, guys!
Does anyone know why my prefereces won't save? I am trying to enable "show insert assignment gain reduction meter" but it keeps unchecking itself? I'm running Pro Tools Artist 2024.3

installed the free version. no wonder its free. no sound. also kills all sound on everything on my computer til I shut it down. then sound comes back. it offers two sound options windows and realtek and neither of them work and they both shut down all sound
Ay man I connected up my icon g2 and I noticed that yes I still get signal but I've noticed when trying to record or listen back to the audio no matter if I turn off the low latency mode off or I re check the pariphals and I/0ive tried restart and updated drivers all that and it seems like the volume and play back jus isn't loud enough I have a m-audio duo track solo as the interface but I can't seem to see why my signal is so much lower-should I jus re sell this icon or what else am I doin wrong that I just am unaware of I've looked for videos and there's jus nothing I can find to help man could you possibly maybe do a video over this??plz man I need something to reset this problem but even looking on Google I jus can't seem to find the answers especially when it comes to the icon qcon g2
Thank you, my brother. I was pulling out my hair trying to understand why I had no sound. I checked the I/O setting on the tracks they were routed to bus 1-2 I had to route to my interface instead and it worked. My man!
I NEED HELP ASAP IDK WHY MY MIC KEEP CUTTING UP I ALREADY CHANGE THE CABLE AND IT STILL DOES IT AND DOES AT A SPECIFIC TIME LIKE EVERY 35 SECONDS SO I FIGURED OUT ITS NOT THE MIC OR THE CABLES I THINK IT GOT SOMETHING TO DO WITH PRO TOOLS

Dude! I really need your help, I can’t hear my audio no matter what I do. The beat plays fine but I can’t hear audio I recorded. Or my mic now for that matter, literally didn’t do anything between my last session & this one. It isn’t I/O, nothing is solo & nothing is muted. The track with my vocal & mic has the same audio output as my beat & I hear the beat fine. Protools actually isn’t even recognizing any other track other than the beat. Like there’s no sound being registered into the DAW. I have no clue what’s going on & it’s killing my inspiration / creativity. This is bs. Please help if you can.
Watched multiple videos but this is the one that worked, the resetting to default in I/O was what worked I think, then selecting the correct output on each track in the edit window. THANKS!!!!!!!
I had to do it in another project also. Same thing worked to fix it also. I noticed it was only the Bus tab that changed when i hit default. it added my audio interface. weird that it wasn't there originally hmm
HELLO, do you know how to fix audio issue on AVID ProTools using volt 2 UA interface. It's so low I can't record vocals with it. Flat line. both inputs are like that. but when using headphone as mic it works. I/O SET UP right! playback engine choosing Volt 2 interface! I get flat line when recording help!!!
There's a few things that come to mind. Let us know if these help 😎 1. Ensure Phantom Power (48v) is engaged 2. Give your inputs enough gain 3. Ensure your input is correctly selected (in your Pro Tools Window AND I/O Settings) 3. A common microphone people start with is a Shure SM7B. These mic's basically require a Cloudlifter to get clean signal (in case you've got one of these mic's)
@@MyAudioAcademy everything is hookup perfect just Microphone issue won't record although using A Headphones as Microphone works records great! Just don't understand how the headphones works & Records, But not the Microphone itself?
