I only was supposed to mow everything inside the fence but I decided to put the Toro TimeMaster to the test for you all to see and mow outside the fence just for you all to see if the toro can handle the extremely Tall grass. Yea it’s a beast Wild bill. It surpassed my expectations after that job trust me. I expected it to bog down a few more times than it did.

As usual, Timemaster performs like a champ. I've been eyeing this mower for a while but every time I see it do wonders like it did in this video, I stumble upon a video of somebody complaining about Timemaster's faults and breaks. Then I give up. But seeing this and knowing that I mostly cut very tall, thick and wet grass, I think I'm buying the sucker... Although I need it for a business I can't spend double the money on a commercial version, the Turfmaster. But since I mow maybe 2 hours a day, this residential grade Timemaster will do just fine. Time to retire my good old 21" Honda and upgrade to a 30" Toro.

Yes this mower is a beast at all 3 phases bagging, mulching, and side discharge. I just did a video of it pulling me up a hill and another video of it mowing this property but the big enormous hillside. Thanks for watching review is coming soon 👊🏼

I bought one of these the other day over in Australia, for larger back yards that I cant get my zeroturn into . First use of it tomorrow and the grass shin high it will be a good test. Do u recommend leaving in the mulch plug and using side discharge chute at the same time? or should I take out plug on long grass . Tanks for sharing 👍

@@fishindudefrank3855 it went ok , I had the chute open though with a strap as the grass was really thick and wet . Alsoi found the transmission a little sluggish up hills . Other then that its going ok .

Nice. only downside to the timemaster is the small gas tank but it seems like a good mower

Your right about that I would prefer a gallon on there also the cutting heights I don’t like, I wish there was a 3 inch setting. but I use non ethanol gas so I can cut around 20,000 sqft before a fill up. I cut 16 yards a week plus mine and use around 7 gallons a month. So non ethanol does help a ton.

I cut this with a old John Deer JM36 on side shoot it’s a 190 cc it struggles a bit but eats it on high settings they don’t make them any more or I would buy2 the best mower I’ve ever used. Regarding bogging down I hope it eats it as I’m looking to retire my 2014 John Deer to my front short grass 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

I would've used my Stihl weed eater. Kept the string short and laid it all down and raked it up. So much faster and easier on your equipment.

With the new 223cc engine which translates too 14hp and 10 foot pounds of torque. It would take A LOT and this is A LOT too bog it down. I'm quite impressed with how it did. I would recommend side-discharging first and then going over it with the bag or mulching it. But this is about as powerful as you'll get in a push self-propelled machine. And by the way folks that self-propelled system on this machine is VERY powerful. It also has very nice rubber tires for traction unlike the plastic ones you get on a standard 21-22 machine.

It’s an awesome mower. I feel like the weight and price is better than getting the 30 inch commercial mowers out there and it’s way better with time than using a 21 inch mower. Thanks for watching. I have a lot of videos on this mower 👍🏼

The Kohler 223cc doesn’t make anywhere near 14 HP. It realistically makes around 7 HP and 11 lb-ft of touque. A small engine that makes 14 HP would have to be in the 400cc range.

I would suggest the commercial one, or you could keep the Honda while you save up. I've had the 21' Honda almost 18 yr.s...double blades, plastic deck with Honda engine. It can bag, really discharge very tall grass no problem and mulch thick wet grass no problems and no clumps

Yea the commercial one is a little steep on the price. I have a 52 inch Grandstand I use now. But the TimeMaster to me is a great solution to very steep hills and back gates. I prefer 30 over 21.

Been eyeing this mower up. Really suprised how well it cut that grass. 2 concerns with buying it is 1. its 'residential' classification 2. The fuel tank everyone complains abt.

No issues with either I have 200 hours on this and never had a issue knock on wood 🪵. So it can be done for sure. The fuel tank is small but if your cutting an acre with this you should be on a bigger mower anyway. Max I cut with this is 25,000 square feet and I do need to fill up once but that’s the only lawn. Other than that no issues 👍🏼 thanks for watching 👊🏼💯

@@TheLawnFellas OK thats very good! looking at buying it to mow a acre, funny you mention that. Have a fairly steep hill on the block, which i cant use a ride on for. so looking at a 30inch walk behind

Yes its 10hp and the old one I believe is 8.5. So this has some more power to climb hills. I did a video of me climbing a hill with one hand 👍🏼💯. Thanks for watching appreciate it.

No it’s awesome on a hillside. Watch my one video we’re I say climbs a hill with one hand. 👍🏼 side to side is best obviously so you don’t slip and I like to work my way up the hill and disengage the blades coming back down.

Wow I have had two TimeMasters and they both been great. First one got 278 hours then I sold it and my second now has 30 hours on it. Never had to replace a belt knock on wood

First off it's your money, if you want to abuse or wreck your equipment for stupid clicks on RU-vid be my guest. Toro has raised the cost of the Timemaster 30 to over $1500.00 on a ( Residential Mower ). I simply cannot justify making videos of how to abuse or wreck your equipment for entertainment. When I see these videos from people who profess to be professional lawncare businesses it makes me wonder what is going on inside your heads. It's like you RU-vid channels try to outdo yourselves on stupidity 🙄. However carry on.

Well really wasn’t abusing it. Now if I was trying to mulch that then yes it would have definitely put a lot of stress on the belts and engine. I was simply showing how it can disperse tall grass. If you think I never got a lawn call to come cut grass in middle of June from a customer that hasn’t cut the lawn yet and it’s 12 inches tall don’t you think people want to know if it can handle that. I charge accordingly for lawns like that. And yes the TimeMaster price went up so did everything else. I actually bought a second one and got it for 1100 from my dealer. That TimeMaster there has 220 hours on it and never had an issue as long as you take care of them. Check out a few of my other videos of me babying that mower. Changing oil at 25 hours instead of 50 , blowing out the belts at 10 hours , etc……. I understand what your saying though but I truly take care of my stuff and I do this on the side as a little side hustle. Thank you for your comment I truly appreciate all the feedback I can get and definitely like constructive criticism it makes me better 👍🏼💯

@@TheLawnFellas This is why I use a weed trimmer and brush blade attachment. I've done entire yards that way instead of chewing through with a mower or rider. There's always that chance someone dropped or threw an object that can't be seen in tall grass that could wreck my mower. Yes its impressive that the Timemaster can go through that but truthfully it's a Residential Mower not a commercial grade product that is built for that kind of mowing. I just got mine today and total with an extended 3 yr warranty ran me $1879.00. The Timemaster 30 used to be $999.00 then it went to $1099.00, $1200.00 and finally $1499.00. I couldn't justify cutting tall grass like that with this machine for any reason. But it's your mower, your investment so carry on. I just want you to understand that I don't like seeing people push their equipment harder than you should.

@@RU-vidISRANBYRETARDS actually have a video coming up on this property of me trimming it with my string trimmer. It’s overgrown again and I don’t have to cut it but I do it here and there to help the customer out. But your right it’s a residential mower but every company around me buy that over the commercial 30 inch. If you spend $3300 on a commercial push mower you probably should go the extra mile and get a hydro walk behind. Thanks for watching though I appreciate it 👍🏼💯
