Unfortunately, having healing factor like that tends to shorten one’s lifespan as the cells only have a limited amount of dna it can cut away from every replication mistake before it’s unable to multiply. There is no way you can heal aging.

@@alexanderwang540Is it mentioned like that in the anime? I haven't watched it yet, honestly. If that's what they say, then that's that. But if that's not actually said, then it's still open to the idea that one could halt their aging at whatever age they decided, or regenerate the damaged sections of DNA because... Magic. I'm not saying they could revert to 10 years old from 30, since that'd require a lot of mass-loss to be accounted for... but going from 55 to 20 might be doable because the mass would just be shifted around and altered by the Healing to be where it needed to be. But again, if the anime itself said that aging isn't a thing that can be healed, only physical damage to the body... then that's that.

@@alexanderwang540thats not at all how the human body works? You do realize you start from two cells which replicate? There's no such thing as "you start with x amount of DNA and loose it overtime".

@@user-dn5gn2iv2q Okay, at this point, I think I just made a terrible abridged explanation. The reason why humans age and are not immortal is because cell division requires these DNA structures known as telomeres. These structures shorten as life continues to progress because cellular division which is what is actually going on when you are either healing or your body is replacing dead cells, is prone to make sequencing mistakes. When said mistakes are made, pieces of said telomere is cut off to fix the error. Thus, if one were to speed up this cell division process, there is a higher likelihood of an error being made. Looking over my last comment what I should have said was that accelerated healing has small of risks slightly shortening one’s life span instead of straight up when it is used in the manner that character in the video uses it when applying real world logic.

@@alexanderwang540 The healing magic in this world is capable of restoring organs like eyes, which is generally impossible to recover naturally, so I don’t think that they need to worry about the cells’ telomeres.

Anytime I see it, it's usually understated as some form of passive regeneration, and is usually negligible or is delayed into a burst as to barely be called "over time" Rose can be seen healing wounds as they're made, rather than tanking the damage and healing afterwards, and I LOVE IT

Yep she can get stronger exponentially faster than anyone else since when you work out your muscles get microscopic tears and heal stronger this of course takes time but she can push herself to the limit and heal as her muscles are tearing making her stronger in the process.

It isn't even possible to gain that much strength through training alone, I theorize that her healing magic helps rebuild her muscles while training. Rose is my favorite anime buff woman

@@octopuszombie8744 That’s how the training works for Usato, Rose forces him to train until he collapses and then heals him, repeat over and over again and you end with superhuman agility and strength.

Dunno if Paladins were really considered lame. I've always seen them being portrayed as the responsible bros of the party.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think while a cleric is always a healer, a healer is not necessarily a cleric. I doubt Rose could deal with ghosts or spirits.

@@moteroargentino7944 I don't know. I think there are some clerics/exorcists/priest(esse)s who can't heal. There are also stories where holy/light magic can be used offensively on both the living and the undead. Although, I personally like healers who can destroy the undead *beacause* healing magic is their weakness.
