@@austinprice5709 My man you need to quit doing math tricks and get back to the basics like learning how to add and subtract. 2 + 6 is 8 - 3 is 5 - the original number 2 equals 3. 8 + 6 is 14 - 3 is 11 - the original number 8 is 3.
@@Blob_Aether ohh nono it's ok there are other options, you don't have to force yourself to maths Just the basics are good enough for living Definitely everyone have their own likes and dislikes
The trick works because it uses basic arithmetic that cancels out your original number. First, you pick any number (N) and add 6 to it, making it \(N + 6\). Then you subtract 3, giving \(N + 3\). When you finally subtract your original number (N), you're left with just 3. So, no matter what number you started with, the math guarantees you'll always end up with 3. It’s a clever use of simple arithmetic to create the illusion of mind reading!
For people who doesnt know the trick: The kids says "Pick number 1-10" Let just pick 9, he says "add 6, substract 3, which mean its equals to 6-3=3, now we keep the three, my first number is 9, we add three, (9+3=12), then substract with the first number (9), which mean its equal=(9-9=0,+3=3) so every number that use this trick is equal to 3.
consider you number to be x, first, he asks to add 6 to x x + 6 Then he asks to subtract 3, x + 6 - 3 Then he asks to subtract you original number, x + 6 - 3 - x If we re arrange the terms, we get: x - x + 6 - 3 Or in simple terms, 6 - 3 = 3//
Lol I remember this. It was our farewell party at school because it was the end of the school year and the teacher asked if anyone had any party tricks to show. I went up in front and called for a volunteer and the smartest kid in math went up. I did this trick except with multiples of five and when I 'guessed' the number he was thinking of everyone's mind was blown.
Because the calculation was x+6-3-x, considering x as the number you choose. So, in x+6-3-x you are only left with 6-3 which is 3. It was pretended that you are making the choice, but it was never your choice, THE ANSWER WAS PREDECIDED. The trick could be changed just by changing the numbers and number of times of addition and subtraction in between "x+" and "-x".
That is true for absolutely any real number, not just between 1 and 10 Let the chosen number be x Add 6: x + 6 Subtract 3: x + 6 - 3 = x + 3 Subtract the original number: X + 3 - X = 3 So let's do some other thing similar: Choose a number (x): Add 2y: x + 2y Subtract half of the number you added (y): x + 2y - y = x + y Subtract the original number (x): x + y - x = y (half the first number that we added) So the end for any tricks like these is half of the number you add, if the number you subtract is half the number you add
@@Kareemle Bro just re-watch the video 😂.....he's asking to subtract the original number at the end....so the answer would be the calculations you did with those number he gave you😂😂
The trick is easy. First you need to get the answer you want like 4 you wand the answer to be 4 Second you tell them to take a number like they took 2 tell them to +6 and -2 then they will have the number 6 and tell them to - the number they took then will have 4 remaining Because if we subtract the number they will have the number we want Like example their number is 2. 6+2=8 8-2=6 if we subtract the number they took then the answer is 4
But if you pick 3 itself you add 6 that’s 9 then you subtract 3 that’s 6 and then you subtract 6 you zero so the trick doesn’t work on all numbers and probably all of y’all knew it.
@@jakekruz1881 No, you're wrong. 3+6=9 (add 6 to your chosen number) 9-3=6 (subtract 3 from the sum) 6-3=3 (subtract with your chosen number, which is "3")
@@jakekruz1881 yes if we can pick -6 same :) that is negative positive react btw numbers in the formula x + 6 - 3 - x you can see x , -x you pick 3 , -3 these numbers are equal to zero
Its impossible not to get 3!!! Examples using those steps, and it works with every number. 1+6=7, 7-3=4, 4-1=3. 5+6=11, 11-3=8, 8-5=3. 10+6=16, 16-3=13, 13-10=3. 15+6=21, 21-3=18, 18-15=3. 27+6=33, 33-3=30, 30-27=3. 100+6=106, 106-3=103, 103-100=3. @@TNNisthegoat But we're forcing the order, it would be (x+1)*0, which is 0. Also, when going with standard order of operations (x+1*0), answer is x, because 1*0 = 0, and x+0=x
"Ima read your mind without saying a word, pick a number 1-10" (Some million years later) "Now subtract the number you started with!" Boy, you just thought of a math question and just added a number in then taking it out like 2 mins in and said you read my mind-
It's simple Take any number x Add 6 to it It becomes x+6 Then, subtract 3 It becomes x+3 Now subtract the original number X+3-X=3 You get 3 for any number The line,"Take any number between 1-10" was for easy calculation
This guy got five phds and million diplomas in yapanese. Today he is a scientist in the field of yapology. He didnt go to harvard he went to yaphard to learn the art of yapistry 😅
@@mariaammar3693 Yea in the vid he “forgot” what his Original number is and Switched it to 3, because he Knew That the kid Would Guess that because he Watched the Video
Had a kid I remember from middle school that could tell you to think of basically any #. He would ask questions like this and at the end he would guess the # 100% of the time. Would blow my time back then.
