Rly dont understand how he cant get on board with spiritbox cuz they're so dark, but vibes so hard to motionless in white and several other bands who are just as dark most of the time.

I love IWABO. LETS GO D-GIBBS, other great songs are, taste like kevin bacon, green eyes, your god is too small, and alaskan flounderbasket! they had switched lead vocalists once, krysta is the OG but courtney came in and did great as well!
Would be stoked to see you react to the band sleeping giant. They are a Christian band and I think you would be truly stoked on it. The songs “sons of thunder “ or “sleeping giant “ are great ones
IWABO is definitely one of those bands that get swept under the rug a lot but they are so good. Courtney was the first female screamer I heard and she definitely opened a new path into metal for me. If you like this you should check out some of their others like Green eyes or Tastes like Kevin Bacon
You really need to give Spiritbox another chance. I never thought they sounded evil and I am a Christian man myself. I would check out "The Mara Effect" or "Perenial".

check out "You Know That Ain't Them Dogs Real Voices" & "You Ain't No Family". those songs feature Krysta Cameron, & it shows her vocal capabilities. & check out "Mind The Gap". that song features Courtney LaPlante, & her clean vocals are so good in that song. been listening to IWABO since their first EP. really wish IWABO would've kept going instead of disbanding after Courtney left to Spiritbox. much love. ❤️

Gibbs, Spiritbox is dark because their theme is horror movies/novels, just like Ice Nine Kills. IWABO has much crazier tunes than this, both the Courtney and Krysta era's were amazing.
Their last album Hail Mary was incredible and the perfect gap bridge over to Spiritbox. It's the only IWABO album that Mike and Court had a huge say in and it showed. I'm not huge on their albums previous to that one and their original singer was gutter trash live
whats funny is i have wrestled a bear once lol i was like 5 and it was a cub with no claws or teeth at a petting zoo we were the same size lol. still happened though haha
I seen I Wrestled a Bear Once back in 2011 and the original singer Not only was gorgeous but was a lot more talented in my opinion. Not to say the new one isn't it just like the old one better
IWABO never took themselves seriously ever. It’s all a comedic, chaotic joke. Courtney’s husband Mike also played in the band for a while, then the band broke up because of issues with the original guitarist laying claim to the name and so gs and telling them they can’t use it anymore.
I thought their last album (Hail Mary) was pretty serious. It showed pretty accurately what they could become if they buckled down but then John had to come along and be a dick like you said and Court and Mike got worn down from being considered the "replacements" when in reality, those 2 contributed more to the band sound and performance wise than any member previously. I've seen them live 4 times, 2 times with Krysta and 2 times with Court. Krysta was utter gutter trash live and they were so sloppy and out of sync it hurt lol then I saw them with Oceano for the first time with Court and they damn near brought the venue down lol
