Jinbei is this show's manliest man. He's just too cool. A different kind of cool like Zoro, Sanji etc. He is cool without being conceited. He is a very noble man who is always respectful. The only one who could challenge him in that aspect is Katakuri.

I have so much respect for Jinbei. He is a man among men. He's honest, respectful, loyal, and knows where he's needed the most. He fills a more mature role that Zoro can't quite fill for Luffy. Zoro has developed into a strong right hand that helps Luffy keep the crew in line where the other crew members don't quite have the iron will to pull through on tough decisions in some situations (like Usopp at Water 7). Jinbei is much older and more experienced and he's able to provide Luffy the wisdom he needs and have his back when Luffy needs someone to help him up in a hard time (like after Ace died). Luffy, despite very generally spastic, idiotic and immature, does get serious and listens when things come down to it which is what will help him become King of the Pirates with Zoro and Jinbei at his side.

Jenbie and brook both have the coldest moments in this arcs against big mom.

Jimbei is real one. Full respect for this man!

For those who is wondering why Big Mom's powers didnt work on Jimbe. Her "life steal" power only works if the person is scared of losing their life or allowed themselves to be intimidated by big mom. In this scene, it showed that Jimbe's loyalty to Luffy is so strong that his own life is meaningless to him, he is willing to give up his life for something greater which is being part of the Straw hat crew. Him joining this way had so much impact than just him boarding the ship.

What I like is he doesn't deny what she is,she is a Yonko and he dosent deny or call her something less,but saying even though she is he isn't afraid is just badass.

Jimbei, a true man. Modern society says that man don't have a male role model anymore, i say that they are in stories like these showing us how it's done.

Whitebeard, Jimbei, Katakuri- These characters are so well written. They are strong yet respectful, terrifying to their enemies but still gentle to their friends, ready to lay down their lives without a second thought. The most respected men in the whole One piece universe. Honourable men!

The most loyal crew member knowing Luffy in less time than anyone. Miles above Zoro and Sanji. Saved Luffy multiple times since Impel Down - and he wasnt even part of the crew til Wano. Luffy wasnt his captain until Wano. Let that sink in. Jimbei found ships when Magellan stranded them on Impel Down. Helped Luffy reach the podium in Marineford, carried almost dead Luffy out of battlefield and slapped some sense into him after Ace's death. Gave his blood to dying Luffy even though it was taboo in Fishman Island. Selflessly sacrificed himself and his former crew so Luffy and others could escape Whole Cake Island. Never hit Luffy, never threatened him, never looked down on him, never said no to an order, never failed to carry out an order, never disrespected him in any way. Hes a warlord for crying out loud but he humbled himself for Luffy. And of course this scene..sorry but hes the most loyal crewmember.

Their ultimate loyalty to him manifests in how they act more like parents, an uncle or a stern big brother to him when it's needed. They're the steady hands pushing him up towards the summit
