Wyoming is one of my favorite states to ride a motorcycle through. From beautiful mountain ranges to its unique wildlife, scenic byways, eateries, and roadside attractions, there’s so much to do in this state! Join me on my Solo Motorcycle Trip for the last final days to see what we discover in Wyoming!
Yellowstone National Park: After spending a few days motorcycle camping in the park, we’re heading out via the Northeast Entrance. This is my favorite area of Yellowstone to ride a motorcycle. Unlike the southern Loop, there are plenty of mountain views and usually less traffic!
Silver Gate & Cooke City: These little gateway towns lie just beyond the Northeast Entrance to Yellowstone National Park, and are home to quite a few different cafes and eateries to enjoy lunch at. Since I didn’t get to enjoy the Beartooth Cafe’s full menu during my trip in 2020, I decided to give it another try.
Chief Joseph Highway: Connecting Cody, Wyoming to the Beartooth Highway, this scenic byway is one of my favorite roads in the country to ride my motorcycle. The views are never-ending! It’s definitely a bucket list motorcycle ride.
Thermopolis, Wyoming: Home to the World’s Largest Mineral Hot Spring! The Big Spring is located in Hot Springs State Park, Wyoming's first State Park. You’ll also find a buffalo herd roaming the park, in addition to a handful of great eateries in town, like One Eyed Buffalo Brewing in the Historic District.

I'm from Cochise County AZ, but my eldest lives in Powell US14A. I rode from there to Lovell and took WY and MT SR37 to Big Horn Canyon Recreation area and back, the wild horses made that leg of the trip. Back to 14A and up the mountain to Bighorn Medicine Wheel, there is a good hike involved, Ancient First Peoples site then back down to US14 through Shell and Greybull over to Emblem (population 10) then north on SR21 to SR295 back to Powell. Great contrast in scenery and elevation. But over the last few years I have crisscrossed WY and ridden much of the two laners. It's ALL good. Spent the night in Medicine Bow in the Virginian back in '10. I way in Yellowstone on Sept 6 & 7 this year and over Chief Joseph to Red Lodge over the Beartooth on the 8th. Just missed you!

Mine does a fantastic job! It all depends where the wind buffeting ends up hitting on your helmet, or if it all goes straight over your head. Lots of variables come into play there, but with my height and windshield height, it hits just above my head for the most part.

@@ridetofood yeah my solo springer seat actually puts me up about 2 inches higher and the faring I have isn’t all that tall to begin with so I thank God for goggles because I’m taking it straight to the face.lol It was better when I had no faring at all, I’m really hoping the Dyna faring helps. Thank for your input. Oh and are you going to have your calendar on your store site or will they be on a different platform?

The state I am most curious about in America is Wyoming. I don't know if it's from the cowboy movies or the RDR2 game...

@@ridetofood I'll always enjoy visiting here. But it's more a town for retirees, cowboys and truck drivers.
