1/3rd the horse power at best, and no rider aids or fancy electronics -- I think those crappie lil things held their own.. Didn't see you gap em in the corners :) I'd like to see Max ride supermoto through the dragon a time or two and let us know how it feels.
@@davidrespect6471 wether people use it or not isn't my concern, I was just stating that the newer model has it and it might make the right rider every faster 🤷♂️
I'll be the first one to say supermoto's are boring in a straight line unless you're doing a wheelie but man on the twisties that's where the supermoto shines
Lol... You talk about supermotos like they are slow/boring but anyone who owns and rides a good supermoto regularly knows how much faster than sport bikes they are in the right locations... Put a good rider on a supermoto in a proper twisty mountain pass where you don't have the space to stretch the legs of your 1000cc and I'll bet anything from dollars to doughnuts that the supermoto is quicker than the 1000... On a big track, sure, you'll have WAY more power in the straights, but a supermoto can carry more entry speed, higher lean angles and requires less lean at any given speed to make the same radius turn, they have infinite grip on Supercorsa SC0 or SC1 and on slicks its basically unstoppable.... All the horsepower in the world doesn't make up for average rider skill...
Always funny when supertard fanboys always have to say it takes some very specific type of road and that supermoto puts the smackdown! LMFAO! Nobody gives a F about these supposed fantasy roads that don't seem to exist. The only way a supermoto beats a sport bike is rider skill. A good rider on a supermoto will beat a less rider on a sport bike and nobody gives a F about that other then SM fanboys.
The only way any supermoto is faster then any sport bike is due to that good rider on the SM and an inexperienced rider on the sport. Simple as that. Even 1000cc's bikes are every bit capable of taking tight curves plenty fast. Suggesting supermotos are only faster in some weird one off special nutty curved track does nothing for your case.
Congrats on patience, through the "Dad's Ride Stage" kheheh...and the best commentator, and seems like riding becomes better every Day- the "muscle memory" took the trail-braking-transition over now, it flows so naturally, with no thinking at all..! I'm the One who is over-thinking here LOL..8-))
in my oppinion both of the sumo riders have pretty bad lines. they lean in way too early and they really to get the knee down and so they get even less lean angle.
This makes me want to see if I can get the best time on three wheels. Maybe find some sport bikes to “pace” and see how well I can keep up without falling too far behind. Lol
i honestly thought the guy riding in second was going to run wide and crash. You could tell he didn't have confidence in his grip and ran wide the 2nd half of most corners
most expensive SM is the KTM 690 smc r. at least it was last time I checked. Same engine though. KTM own Husqy and Gas Gas, so they all have a 700cc engine
My YZ450 is much easier than my R6 and R1 through the Dragon. The Skyway is a different story but those tight Dragon turns are where sumo’s hurt feelings.
Squids R Us- wish I still lived in the area-be worth having a 400 SP or 250 two-stroke Hell at these speedsI wish I had my 1982 diesel rabbit -I did have a GT three suspension
i hope that this dragon tail area does not become a real race track and they chop down the forest , i know this has almost nothing to do with with motorbikes but still , nice to know , a full grown leaf tree give 42 pple per day oxygen and 30 pple drinkable water, chopping it down is the worst one can do , another thing if found interesting are the first motorbike things that came out having just 1 wheel and the engine was in the wheel :)
Riding is funny--- you have extremes like truly fast maniacs with no fear and then slow putting extreme safety first people in high viz vests going 10 mph below the speed limit in the twisties that don't even move and hate on everyone riding spirited'(like bro clearly motorcycles aren't your thing if you're an extreme risk minimizer). Then you have cyclists which are scum of the earth LOL
I don't dig the style of these supermoto riders. Either too much sportsbike style with ridiculous knee hanging, or useless dirt bike foot extension. I guess the thumbnail sums it up. Express yourself guys, it is supposed to be fun on a motard.
