The scene where sephiroth throws the materia and flies isn't in the flashback. It's when you get back to nibelheim. Also, as far as red riding a chocobo, They originally were just going to have him run along beside the party, but somebody mocked up a design of him riding the bird, and they just thought it was too funny and cute not to put in the game

@thembill8246 No, I'm pretty sure it's Cloud's. If it is Zack's, then he is doing a very good impression of Cloud's VA

@@roccotherayquaza2468 I think it's Zack trying to do cloud, just like Cloud is emulating Zack. Although I think during the burning sequence, it is actually cloud's voice actor because the illusion is slightly breaking.

@@roccotherayquaza2468it's both actually, in the car on the way to Nibelheim its Cloud's va but in Nibelheim the soldier is voiced by Zack's va, cool how the game mixes and changes who voices the grunt

Anyone who thinks cloud has feelings for Aerith, especially in the original, doesnt pay attention. I recently replayed OG ff7 ant he clearly states he has had feelings for tifa from the beginning while they wre in the life stream. Then they have that moment under the highwind. I love aerith in remake/rebirth but dont get your hopes up aerith fans. Also, not for nothing but shes super possessive in rebirth even tho shes given no indication cloud feels the same Also let's not forget, when and if zach and aerith ever come face to face in this trilogy, it will be like cloud is invisible to her. Her feelings aren't even real because they are biased off him being so similar to Zach

Imo Aerith never had REAL strong romantic feelings for Cloud. Maybe the idea of him, of Zack. I always think in these games she almost teases the situation to get Tifa and Cloud to finally get together.
