I Can't BELIEVE This Flight Simulator Runs In A BROWSER - GeoFS UPDATE

Quality of the community contributed aircraft may vary but official GeoFS aircraft are all fitted with animated and instrumented cockpits. (Ok, not the AN-140...). Have a good flight!

ok so it wasnt until 5:17 until it really hit me. the size of that runway was unlke anything ive ever seen before in a flight simulator. I still play fsx all the time and, even in previous flight simulators ive played, all the runways are basically the same size. so it shocked me so much to see how wide that runway was. then i remembered how dubai has a giant, wide runway. then i remembered that, well, ironically, most airports have giant, different sized runways. and it feels so god damn satisfying to see. actual. proportion. it feels atmospheric, it feels REAL. if you landed an an-140 in fsx at that same airport, i bet the runway-aircraft proportion would be the same as literally any airport. using satellite imagery for the actual airports and runways themselves is one of the best things ive seen in a flight simulator. (if they had already done this before somewhere then ive just been unaware of it) but either way its awesome. love you, geofs devs

Im actually currently working on implementing interactive cockpits to the game. Its a very fun process, albeit being very long to make. And for those doubting me, I made a video of the demonstrator version on my channel

Having Swiss001 fly in my homeland really made me proud, i hope you enjoyed flying into Lesotho and its mountains. The Matekane air strip is actually fun to fly at despite, being rated one of the most dangerous. Always gives you goosebumps when taking off to a cliff Coincidentally, Lesotho is the Swiss of Africa :)

Has been waiting for this! I play it everyday! If you make a video of this again, try the a330 or the 777, also there is a 777 realism addon, which has proper animated gear tilt, gpws callouts, reworked physics, reworked sounds and everything else.

By the way, you can add crash detection and weather and physics in the options tab in graphics and weather. And also as a student at school, we use Dell Latitude 5320 and they didn’t block GeoFS. So everyone plays it in class. They clearly want RAF to do well.

In GeoFS, I mostly use the Boeing 737-700. In version 3.5, I noticed that the cockpit in the 737 (not the 737 that is contributed) is interactive even without 737 realistic mods. You can interact with the throttle, spoilers, and parking brake by left-clicking. Sadly, the flaps are not interactive. (by the way, this is not clickbait. Please trust me.) and, I also think that the interactive cockpits are also in the other versions, but I think it's only for the 737-700.

My friend told me about this in school about a year ago so i checked it out but sadly it was blocked on my schools network

"the 3d buildings they just added" I used geofs years ago when it was gefs and used google earth data. sucks that they lost or changed the license for that. not sure what happened exactly. glad to see that 3d buildings back in after something like 5 years of not having them though lol

Hey swiss001, love your videos!!! In this game, you can enable crashing but there aren't any crash animations. Instead, it just shows 'You crashed' on the screen.

Hey swiss, there's actually a script that you can copy and paste to have much more liveries. But only for aircrafts that is made by Spice 9. I can send the link if you want.

By the way. the reaosn your rudder didn't work on the ground for turning was because geo-fs has made it flight sim more realistic by adding additional special control for the ground. The default controls for left and right on the ground are the 2 arrow keys.

hello mr swiss. U inspire me a lot and i was literally gonna recommend geofs new update like 3 hours ago. Did u know that in the aircraft tab if you go to the top and click "community contributed", it has so so many more planes. I learnt that fact from a friend so don't give me any credit

Something u might not know,on the original 737 u can interact whit the trothle handle,the parking brake,the flaps and the gear in the cockpit

I found this game abt a month ago and it sll i have been talking abt up until now,its so undrrated bc u can fly w ur friends,you can chat,and best of all,its free!

Best thing about geofs is that it can be run on super low graphics so that any pc can run it without exploding. I'm currently playing on a flight sim from the 90s. Of course I'm going to upgrade my pc soon

As a middle schooler with a chromebook, I can confirm my chromebook dies when I play Geofs.

In GeoFS, to use rudder, turn off "Mix Roll/Yaw" then set the analog input from the rudder pedal to Yaw, then you're done.

The most annoying thing is that you cannot change autopilot settings without turning it on. Turning it on locks current speed, altitude. and heading. Also, it stays on when you restart from ground.

In school we got 2000€ iMacs and I play that game every time on max Graphics it’s perfect for a browser game loved it 😊

You gotta appreciate the fact it doesn't require GPU like rtx 3090 etc. It literally runs on cpu

Wenn ich es richtig gehört habe, ist besser als die Aerofly FS2022 Simulator, weil dar auch der alte Legendere Concorde neu gekommen ist. Ich würde mich (glaube auch die anderen) echt sehr freuen.

Time was that whenever a new version of Microsoft Flight Simulator hit the streets, I'd scoop it up and it would only serve to remind me that it was time to upgrade my computer, and at considerable expense. After seeing the picky system requirements of MSFS 2020, I'm not about to drop $2000 on a new laptop just to run it. Now along comes GeoFS, and in an email to its creator, Xavier Tassin, I told him it was the Best Discovery I"d Made on The Internet in YEARS! It runs smooth as silk on my current laptop, the graphics are a stunning as they are accurate, especially in mountainous regions, where specific peaks like the Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau in Switzerland are clearly identifiable. Or the lonely island of Tristan da Cunha in the South Atlantic between South America and Africa. And NONE of this beauty and performance requires you to surrender half of your disk space in order to load all the crap that other flight simulators need.

I play it on my Cromebook at school I turned on all graphics settings and water and it runs great with the buildings whole different world
