lol you get lucky :)) this part of town is rarely flooded, maybe once a year. Many other parts are more flood prone but not in D1

That water is a mix of sewage, urine, feces, roaches, rats, plastics, and just about every critter in Saigon.

Asians seem to take monsoonal rain in their stride, but really what choice do they have ? Here in the Top End of Australia we love the Wet Season - the city fathers nailed the drainage system many years ago. The key is mangroves - without those, we would be screwed.

@xdgs567z So I'll tell u the fact. There're 2 seasons in Vietnam (Sunny and Rainy). The rainy starts from early October and last to late January (not sure abt ending). So if you wanted to visit some places at this time, don't pick Saigon, the draining system is really madness as you saw in the video 😂. I suggest you to visit Da Lat or Da Nang, Hanoi during this season due to they have better draining system and not raining heavy like SG...

Heavy rain and high tide r at the same time, the street is flooded some area becoz Saigon is not much higher than sea level.

@@TrungNguyen-ul8gm Yes ? It sounds that you are living in another country and you don't know anything about Saigon and Vietnam . It depends where you stay in HCMC . I am actually living in D1 and I never see floods like this here .

If you travel to Vietnam, visit Da Nang or Nha Trang , shouldn't go to Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi as they are both polluted and noisy,flooding. In SEA, Thailand is the best destination for travel.
