Hi I just wanted you to know that when you talked about that girl that died I actually cried a ton like I couldn't quit God bless you stay safe please reply to this comment
When we were kids, if you were fortunate enough to get a bicycle you were the happiest kid in town. You took care of your bike and had it for years. Sadly, I’ve never seen so many bikes in ruin. What a waste. Thank goodness for this guy scraping them.
Yeahhh I’m loving all the uploads!!! You don’t know how much these help during these challenging days! Thank you so much Paul! 🦋 God Bless and protect everyone 💜
Hey you. Julie here. I've had some folks tell me that they were able to find us, after the hacking situation, because of YOU!! It means so much to me and I just wanted to say thank you. We are working on getting our channel back, but an amazing thing that has come from this is seeing how many awesome REAL friends I have in this community. You are one of them. Thank you again. If there are angels, you are among their ranks. 😍🤗😇😘😍🤗😇
I have heard from a lot of my RU-vid friends about channels suddenly disappearing. I'm glad you got that figured out. I subscribed just to give you that extra subscriber, "Everyone counts" :) I'll check it out later after I finish watching here for a bit. And a reminder to all who watch "Click that Like button and subscribe" Have a GREAT DAY :)
Paul, after watching this video I think that you could open up your own used lawn and garden store, bicycle shop or second hand gas grill store. When I was a kid in the sixties and seventies it was almost a crime to throw out bikes, mowers and gas grills that were in half the condition of the ones you picked up. Keep on scrappen and take care of yourself.👍👍👍
Paid off trucks are one less thing to stress about when the scrap is light. Long as you make enough for gas and a polar pop... I mean soda (man I wish Florida Scrapper would start up again). It's all good, gets ya some fresh air and sunshine. Makes me wanna start scrapin' again. God Bless ya Paul, your videos are a life saver.
I missed out on a scrap mower last night. Stuff doesn't stay put as long in our town as it does yours. I noticed the scrappers jump right on stuff. I have already sold a couple refurbished lawn mowers. I go through and repair or replace anything broken or missing. New mowers are expensive and I have no issue selling them. The parts alone are worth it on those mowers. A new coil for a lawn mower is $48. Blades run $17 on up. If your mower guy isn't parting mowers, he is nuts. The newer parts are of lower quality too than the originals.
I find your channel so warm and inspiring. God blessed you with a gift. Thanks for everything you've done and will do. This needs to be more accepted. Please recycle folks!
Have a safe and enjoyable Memorial Day weekend. I love the devotional ends to your videos. You are blessed to have a deep faith. We all need to know that we are never alone.
You had me laughing when you said put the stove on the hood of the truck! LOL You have a great sense of humor! I also love the addition of another metal art piece, very cool!
Hi Paul! Awesome scrap pickups, love these long videos! I never thought we would ever be required to wear a mask everywhere we go! Crazy times! Have a great weekend and Happy Memorial day! ❤ 🇺🇸
Way to go Paul! Love seeing you stack up that scrap like you did! Awesome haul! 3 years doesnt seem that long but time flies. Still loving watching your videos.....hope you have a Blessed weekend Paul!
Paul, you do know that the lawnmowers handles are removable, right. Just saying that it you take the handles off, then you have more room for other scrappings
I would love to be around you for a week or two, I would be the happiest person in town. You are always so cool, calm and collected. Keep the videos and the good feelings you convey. Love you and your family.
Paul you are giving a whole new meaning to “ the sky’s the limit” loading that truck. We learned to load light and go often after many a mishap and a few breakdowns. Lol I had a 68 chevy half ton and a light car trailer behind and weighed in at 13,500 one trip. Thankfully the DOT never saw me coming.
...nope...forget the trailer, trade for a 1990's-early 2000's, or even '70's or '80's if you can find one in good mechanical shape, 1/2 ton full-size, LONG WHEELBASE pickup..it will make a HUGE difference...and you don't need any extended cab/4 door, or 4 wheel drive setup..just regular cab, 2wd, long wheelbase...you could get one for the price you could sell your little truck for, plus the price you would have to pay for a trailer...and much more maneuverable through those neighborhoods than dragging a trailer around everywhere, no worries about backing, having to hook/unhook the thing, etc...I would normally recommend a 3/4 ton pickup(long bed of course), but from my observations, you rarely haul anything heavy enough to need it, so a 1/2 ton is all you need..and, for the extra trips you will save, you shouldn't hurt much, if any, in the gas department, especially if you get an inline-6, V6, or small V8... :)
Hello Paul just wanted to thank you for the entertainment . I watch mostly from my couch as I am limited to movement due to breathing disease and back injuries as a younger woman. can't leave a comment on the T V but able to when on my PC .Also wanted the thank you for your prayers . Some days I watch you for hours... glad you have your merchandise up. I used to scrap with my Dad when it was still legal to pile as many as his 9 kids and spend a day at the dump hunting for treasures
Went Dumpster diving today, climbed in at 1 place, and all of sudden a young man was there and said 'what you are doing is blessing so many, keep it up you are doing Gods work. God Bless you. Gave him a box and filled all the while he was talking the Lord is wonderful and Jesus is great in mercy and on and on. And I said it is nice to hear a young man with such faith, and he was gone just vanished, I have an idea I was entertaining an Angel unaware.
Isn’t it funny how some days are lawnmower days, some grill days ,fan days... I take care of 186 apartments and when I get a disposal call I get three or toilet clogged I will get three calls. Crazy how that works
Umbrellas, mattresses, baby beds, fan day, I scrap also. I laugh at the things that come out weekly🤣🤣🥰 I god gives me what other people need and how not to buy from china is to recycle what we already have. I grab shark vacuums because there easy to work on.
It's been awhile since I've seen you hope your doing well, my son has been keeping me real busy at his powder paint business, while you scrap we are bringing it back to life , so if you find the old heavy patio furture it's in demand of course powder coated! Last set we got for a 100 dollars it sold for 700.$ a loud color we painted it silver with a candy red clear coat two chairs , love seat and small table . So remember a little work extra brings a little extra in your pocket . Great to see you again best as always to you and your family And GOD BLESS YOU ALL !
A lot of people get rid of mowers because of ethanol sitting over winter in them and stopping up the carburetor, clean the carb, start the mower, and make 50 bucks each or better.
no I'm not i work for appliance testers i make 21 dollars a hour i test to make sure that there's working and i have to move them where they going my partner hook them up
for the next vid paul could we see what the rear axle suspension looks like when there;s nothing in the bed and then when there is a heavy load after you've been out on a run.. i'm quite curious to see what that looks like. if that is okay with you of course.
Right off the start something diabolical is about to happen when Paul does the rapping of the fingers like an Evil Scrap Mastermind. Love the videos man keep them up!👍
About 20 years ago, (i then still lived in the Netherlands) I had to run out of my house as a worker of city maintenance was grinding through the lock of my rusty old bicycle, to stop him. He thought it was abandoned junk, but i still used it every day. He told me to buy a new lock and send the receipt to their head office to get reimbursed. I did but also send a letter that they should make labels and that they could put on rusty old bicycles with the text: If this label is not removed before 2 weeks after this date ...... this bicycle will be removed as scrap. They were very happy with my idea and ± a month later i could see the labels appear on old bicycles everywhere. :-)
one of my neighbors was throwing out a weed eater, im a very curious person and i decided to try to start it cause it had fuel, looked like it was in good condition, and was all in one piece... well it literally started on the 4th pull and i now have a 2 stroke weedeater that i use
In Ohio residential scrapping is huge..in GA it's not a thing..that's one cool garbage man dude right there..do you ever think of fixing up some of those goodies and re-selling?
Hey Paul, I worked at a scrap yard here in Charlotte 16 yrs old for6 yrs, Its now the panthers practice field scrap yard moved to Rock Hill sc ,Fun times learned a lot about metals and learned i didn't want to work "The Hole", that was a tough days work.Take care and happy scrapping !!
I love how you imagine how the commenters sound when you portray them commenting. Absolutely hilarious. I laugh out loud in the literal sense. You funny Paul. 😂😂😂😂😊😊
I tried scrapping but every time I went to my scrap dealer I seem to pick up a nail or a screw in my tire which cost me $30 so there was no profit in that endeavor
NOW THAT WAS A MASSIVE SCRAPPING DAY - YOU DONE VERY WELL INDEED - SOOOOOOO MANY BIKES - WOW !!!! WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD FOR YOUR NEXT VIDEO -THANK YOU !!!!
Amen! Great haul Paul. Few days ago was the first time I’ve ever been to a scrap/ junk yard it’s different I was afraid getting a flat tire but everyone was super nice and busy but I’ll be going back. Hope everyone is doing well. Have a great day 😊
I love that the cat was happy he knew h had just found a new home. And when you left the scrap and the camera looks like you left it on top of the truck. If you did I'm glad it didn't fall off.
there you are. hey Paul. you make me want a truck so I can go out n find treasures. look for a cheap trailer. one benefit is that you're in no rush to get one. praying one falls into your lap for free. in Jesus name. let be so amen. nice haul at the end and nice job stuffing the truck plumb full I have a litter of kittens that look just like your metal cat. blue eyes and long black fur.
I cannot get over how massive these pick up trucks are! Here in the uk all pick ups are like the same size as yours and they would be considered big vehicles, America seems a lot more open and spacious compared to the uk, great video as always, stay safe Paul!
You know a lot of this goes on in the UK we are a throw away society we also give a lot away as well where people leave it outside there property for someone else to take, It just gets dumped somewhere or fly tipped, We use skips or it goes to the tip or a car boot sale etc or it gets sold privately or on eBay etc, We also have gypsies who are driving around looking for scrap metal & scrap car's etc, etc, There is big money to be made doing it, I have always said that it is unbelievable what people throw out.
@@neil9242 yeah Ik, Im one of those people who sometimes collects stuff when I see something I can make a profit from, even if I look wierd doing it in front of friends I still do it cuz there’s money to be made with stuff that is thrown out
Brother, thank you for blessing me today. When you walked away with $33 for 800lbs I was like hell naw! But then I reflected it on it and even though it’s not much, it’s an honest living. Your a good honorable man whose not afraid of working hard. Wishing you the best.
When we were kids, if you were fortunate enough to get a bicycle you were the happiest kid in town. You took care of your bike and had it for years. Sadly, I’ve never seen so many bikes in ruin. What a waste. Thank goodness for this guy scraping them.
While driving he suddenly disappears into some sort of a self induced bowline knot blackhhole. I'll be back in an hour, famous last words. I don't see no bikes! Great video. Stay scrappy Palletman😁
Lmao....I found a couple just going to the store...brought it home... clean the carb and air filter..they fire right up.. It just depends..I had to moved a couple of times.. One time I just left all my furniture , TV, stero in the apt ment. other time I sold as much as I could before I moved. ( lost lots of money) sold my $6000 car for $1000...for quick cash. Got $350 for a $1500 riding mower.. We had to leave the frigg...dryer..tools...ect ( move across the country) The extra long bed U haul as Packed.lmao....I couldnt pack anymore stuff in if i tried...( I had to leave at $5000-$6000 worth of stuff in the garage/drive... i painted a Big..." FREE " sign before I left.
I am aware that I am not supposed to covet, but I am longing for a community like yours. When you got out of the truck to go and get paid at the first scrap yard, you left your phone on the seat, with your windows rolled down and truck unlocked. Heck, here in New Orleans, you cannot even leave anything in view with your doors locked and windows up. You will return to a busted out window and all your belongings gone. As usual, great video. God bless you.
one mans brass is another mans gold. Here in Kenya, I can simply repair most of those scap and make a good living out of them. How i wish I could gain access to such things.
Paul, I would like to ask you to say a prayer for our family. We lost a family member this evening. We found out 2wks ago she had cancer. They said she had a couple of months. Today she had a seizure and was life flighted to a larger hospital and by the time they got there they kept her alive long enough for the family to go and say their goodbyes. She was my son n laws mom. We are all very close. We've known each other for 25+ yrs. She was a sweet and loving woman and will be dearly missed. The family is having a really hard time right now. Please keep us in your prayers. Her name was Sheila. Stay safe and God Bless.
Paul thanks for you thoughts and prayers. Hope you and your family are doing good. Keep up the awesome work and be SAFE out there. GOD BLESS.... Nashville Towing & Recovery (NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE)
Hi Paul 🖐️, you made my day ‼️, The expression that you had on your face when you said the cat was purring was hilarious. But than I listened and for A minute I WAS freaked out two. I laughed so hard I WAS crying ‼️🤓. Thanks so much for sharing I needed that ‼️💜💯💯💯.
Paul, the company that makes those command hooks has fasteners for pictures, basically hook and eye fasteners on their extreme sticky stuff. You could use that to mount the metal art pieces and other things to the shop walls. No damage to the paint. That AC may have just needed the filter cleaned.
I haven’t watched since last Oct 19 & have noticed you’ve improved you tactics as you’re much more organized in shop!!!! You also are more established in the community. 👍🏽. ✋🏻. Stay safe & don’t let your guard down!
My grandfather was a trash man for many years - started in the 60's. He hauled trash to his 1.5 acre place next door to where I live now and also my property. A few years ago I started digging in the big piles of old stuff. I have found rings with stones, antique bottles, marbles, silver coins and lots of other treasures. I have the items on display in gallon jars. When I had time, I would use those items to make steampunk jewelry. I tumbled the broken glass and ceramics to use as artwork. I had to stop looking in 2019 when I shattered my ankle and then in 2020 I got Breast CancerIIIB and had my right breast removed. I believe I am a hoarder now cause I just hang on to stuff. I am 72 and enjoy watching your videos while l am suffering with Covid for the last 4 weeks. I do get grumpy sometimes, sorry.
