Fellow NE’er here; I find it incredibly difficult practicing anything inverted with these grey skies and snow on the ground combined with no leaves on the trees. Total loss of spatial awareness and I’ve flown right into the snow on the ground thinking it’s the sky 😂. It’s brutal but spring is on the way!

Those sims help a lot with the more complex stuff. At least when you crash, it's free and you get to respawn 👍

Great vid, man. The thing holding me back right now is I don’t feel like getting out of my truck to trudge through the snow to pick up my fallen quad lol. I like the split s transition to practice. I like the way cricket does them with zero uptilt as well. It seems to do a good job of keeping the ‘target’ in frame during the flip. Thanks for the great content!

this gives me an idea. theres a baseball field fully fenced in where i am. im going to try and go all the way around the field backwards. fence will be my visual guide to keep altitude.

When I want to learn a new trick I master it in the sim first. It only cost time, and respawns are instant.

Nice Matty man but I think your approach is a little too fast especially on something that isn't that high like that bullpen. Slow it down so you can try and keep whatever you're doing a Matty on in frame. Keep up the good work.

Yeah, to each their own really. I don’t see my flights as a display of technical prowess, I see them as a dance, an artistic expression and stabilization is a style.

@@Kmart_FPV You re right. Its a personal preference. But you are trying to learn a new trick. So it's technical progress or not? And if you wanna be one of the better pilots, you need to get smooth on the sticks, without stabilization. Just saying, don't wanna bother you. I really like the approach.

@@maggoffm7586 fair point. The in-google stuff isn’t stabilized though - I’m getting that feedback, it’s just polished for the end product. It’s a legit take though, and I appreciate the feedback!
