Shoes that are mint that have the insoles missing is usually becuase they were to small so they took the insoles out probably threw them away then wore them once and realised they are still too small

Hi, I haven’t really made a video on this but do go into it on a few videos a little. Most are noticeably fake, so I just avoid them of course. But to be honest it just comes down to experience and the more time you put in the more you learn about fakes and what to look out for. Thanks 😊

Thanks Richard. I have used Clear Gorilla glue before as this is quite flexible when dried. But to be honest, rarely do repairs and just sell them as is, like the Vans in this video

Thanks for the video - do you sell on eBay how do you avoid eBay authentication on trainers ? I’ve had nothing but problems with this system and been selling on eBay for 15 years

I’ve only ever had one fail the authentication on eBay, this was the first pair I sent. Every other pair that’s gone through them has been authenticated. No way to avoid it, unfortunately! I like to think it gives the buyer peace of mind too, and minimises returns.

Hi, never the washing machine really, unless the shoe is the type that won’t get damaged or colour runs etc. Just scrub under the sink and put in the sun or radiator to dry, cleaning video coming at some point when I find the time 😊

Hey Dan, so for a weeks holiday, I just setup holiday mode, allows buyers to see that I’m away and there will be a delay on their order. Or can just extend dispatch times. Can also completely close the shop too if away for a longer period.

@Londoncarper honestly, I get this feeling all the time, already had a whoops moment this morning on Vinted. Usually you can at least break even. You’ve just got to spend money to learn in this business (and keep watching the vids 😉) Hopefully you’ve got some good snipes anyway 🙌🏼

Would love to know how quickly you're turning the shoes around. I'm just thinking cash flow could be an issue with the need to buy at a higher price and shoes not always being super fast sellers.

Most sell within a month, some same day I list them. Cash flow isn’t an issue, I sell approx £1k turnover in shoes a week, gives me enough for bills and re-investing. The buy price is higher, but the sale price is also usually higher, so it balances itself out pretty well. Hope that clears it up for you 😊

Interesting vids, however, your stock is likely to dry up. I'm sure someone else will have mentioned it. It's alright telling folk what you do but you will have created hundreds of buyers looking for the same as you. Too much competition. Not a criticism, just an observation.

Of course I’m aware of this, so far I’ve seen no difference since using Vinted. Thing is, I sometimes get the shoes within 10 seconds of them being listed, so it really is about being the first to see it. It’s similar to my car boot videos, people like the idea but to actually put it into practice takes a lot of work in the background. Appreciate the comment anyway 😊

@@thelegend-8151 The problem is, if folk keep telling other folk about sniping, (I hadn't even thought about it untill I saw these vids) it could become swamped with snipers, meaning you must lose out. Also, it is bringing to the attention of Vinted sellers (and others) how much more their items are worth. I'm not stating it will happen, but it is more likely than not.

@@thelegend-8151 I agree. It was specifically Vinted I was thinking of as that is the platform being used by JD. There's no knocking anyone for posting vids, their prerogative, however, it has to make an impact. I personally think the impact will be huge. Would I do it? No. It would be like telling the world there's a free bag of gold and giving the coordinates. By the time I get there, it's all gone. Not quite the same, but you get my point!😅
