@@droigy nope. the samsung smarthings gives me the option to lock only. not to unlock. this is after i had tried many times to unlock the phone with the pattern. and fingerprint unlock is not available at all on the screen. after restart the phone is on airplane mode. but i still can find it on smarthings. it just doesnt give me unlock option. just lock option.
I have an old LG X power that i recently tried turning on but the screen is black, no charging symbol pops up when its connected and when i told the power button, the red led light pops up for a few seconds then disappears.
That has nothing to do with a lock, looks like you have either a main board, battery, or charging port issue. Take it to a local independent repair shop to have them take a look and possibly fix it.
I have an old samsung and because it was restarted it's only allowing me to use the swipe code to unlock. It's been years I have no idea what the code is. Is there anyway to unlock it without losing everything on it? I haven't connected it to any smartlock or similar things.
Say goodbye to Samsung's remote password unlock feature starting Dec 4th 2023. They will no longer be supporting remote unlock without erasing the phone. :( Looks like they are trying to be just like Apple which never had a remote unlock, only a factory erase.
My dad died. He has a Z fold and I JUST NEED TO GET IT UNLOCKED WITHOUT LOSING DATA!!!!!!!!!! I DONT KNOW IF HE GAS PICTURES OR VIDEOS THAT ARE NOT BACKED UP!!! 😭😭😭😭
@@alyssaglover6013 - What's "GAS" pictures? Unless it's a rootable phone, I'm afraid there's no way to unlock the screen password without losing all the data. You could try logging into his Samsung account to change the code remotely (if you know his login), that's about all you can do.
@@alyssaglover6013 - The only way you might be able to gain access if you know your late dad's Samsung account and password which I might let you change the lock code remotely.
Then you need to take the phone to a Samsung after-sales service center to see if they can help you solve the problem. You can also search for paid unlocking software on Google, which will cost a certain amount of money.
@@droigy Ok got it thanks. I didn't realize at first that it was an external program and thought it was something built into Windows. Unfortunately it's not seeing the device which I figured would happen. I have a Samsung Galaxy A13 5G I found in the dumpster at work with a smashed screen. Since the replacement was under $20 I figured it was worth fixing for a spare device. It's locked with the draw pattern screen lock and was already up to Wait 60 minutes after 1 wrong attempt when I powered it on. I didn't realize the Google email and password would be needed for a factory reset until after I saw it on the menu instructions so I didn't factory reset and possibly end up with a paperweight. Do you have any other ideas besides those presented in the video on how I might unlock it? I'm not looking to get into anyone's private data, look at their private pictures, etc. I just want to wipe it so I can use it as a spare camera/video recorder. Thanks again!
@@droigyIf you mean the menu that pops up when holding power and volume up on power up with the option to factory reset, enter boot loader, etc, Yes I can get into it. I can even enter boot loader mode so if I had access to the right firmware I could even re flash it from my PC.
If it says it's lost you can log into find my phone on Google or Samsung find my phone on a computer or other device you can click secure phone and it will let you set a new pin or password and should be able to unlock it
