Awesome sell. The time was right. I have a book that I can not pass by in dollar bins. Synch first appearance gets me every every time. I do not know how many copies of the title I have, but I know I kept more of them than I gave away. The Olympics were incredible. My wife and I enjoyed every day of the events. For a moment, the world came together and enjoyed and inspired one another through completion and education. Be well, my friend.
Got lucky with that book. Might need to work a bit more with your production quality on your videos. You’re pointing at areas with no graphics. Little to close to the camera especially the way it keeps switching focus and the monitor reflection on your glasses is very distracting. I would create a dedicated area and set up for filming to up the professional look of your videos. Also maybe look up the info beforehand so you don’t have dead air or edit that stuff out. (More so from previous videos) Content is good. Just need to work on the visuals.
Good for you! The time was right, thanks to Hollywood, and that goes for ALL comic books. God forbid Hollywood pays attention to a hero or storyline. That book goes from the dollar bin to $100! Hey, $23 is $23. Take it and run!

I feel like it’s pretty obvious how Downey is going to be Doom given that we’re still in the middle of the multiverse slog. Basically, What If Tony Stark Became a Bad Guy? Infamous Iron Man has nothing to do with it, so you were right to take advantage of the speculator delusion and sell. The real question is still when will we get-and who will play-the Earth-616 (née 199999) Victor Von Doom?
It's all just fan speculation until the movie comes out. Still, I'm pleased that you made a bit of money on your copy and removed the risk that you end up holding a dud if the film has nothing to do with the comic.
Of course you did, we're right in the window between spec and the movie coming out...this is the only time you would have been able to sell it at a profit, before it crashes after the movie. That's how this market works, how is that surprising?
I picked up 2 copies of this book about 2 months ago on the same day for $1 a piece lol. The crazy thing is this isn't the book people should be getting. It's Already confirmed RDJ is playing Doom, not Tony becoming Doom or Doom becoming Iron Man. I'm sure it will keep increasing in value until the movie comes out. But like most books like Thor # 1 or Captain Carter # 1 etc, it will drop back down in value.
Hi, Jim. Yeah, I'm sure the market will be going crazy for awhile now for Infamous Iron Man. LCS will dig these out of their back issue bins and jack up the price on it. I've always been a reader who enjoys the content, so speculation has never been a primary concern of mine. In terms of the MCU, I am sure the Multiverse plays a huge part in whatever is going on w/ Doom. BTW, the books are not appearing in your video when you point at them, but I'm sure you know that by now. But yeah, I don't think speculation is waning at all. Spec-buying seems to be a huge part of the sales end of the industry.
