Your videos are like visiting with a friend, always enjoyable. It is so sweet to see little DeeDee with her stiff-legged walk (“it’s probably the Rheumatism”, as Granny used to say), as she walks around, sniffing all the smells, or being carried around. I could see the hummingbirds pretty well. Dee Dee is such a good little dog. She don't seem to have a mean bone in her little body. She seems nice to all the other animals cats, dogs and others...and stays close to you. She seems to be a blessing to you as much as you are to her. Thank you for rescuing her.
I always say when I die, I want to come back as an animal on Cog Hill Farm! I don’t know if I’ve seen any animals that are cared for as well as the ones here.❤

That little canned ham is spotless!! Inside and out. It really is cute and you did a great job on those curtains!!! I feed the hummingbirds, too, here in CA. We have Rufous and Allen’s Hummingbirds mostly here. They are so much fun to watch.
Biscuit was so cute peeking over the edge of the milking room. She was so curious as to what you were doing but she didn't want to come down. The canned ham looks so good and the curtains look very great in there. Hummers are so fun! Their little tongues are so long. We filmed some once and it was as much fun to watch the video as it was to watch the live Ruby Throats here in Oklahoma. DeeDee and the boys go everywhere you go, don't they? Plus, the kittens and the dogs get along so well.

Brooke you didn't surprise me!! Your curtains are absolutely beautiful. I watch you drive tractor like my grandma and her sister. My grandmother was a beautiful seamstress to. You remind me so much of the women in my family that were strong and independent. I meant to write you sooner and share about a thin blackout liner that will keep them from bleaching out and getting sun rot. I did this to a pair of cheap purchased curtains that the sun came through them during the day they would not hold their beautiful color that I wanted for my room. I just sewed the lining to the top two rows of stitches so that it gathers with the fabric. As this fabric does not fray I just let it gently hang be hind. I got mine from Jo-Ann fabrics, use my 40% off coupon offline.
Oh my Brooke , the curtains look great in the canned ham , perfect coloring to match cushions.. you did a great job on seeing them !! The Canned Ham is so cute ! Brooke I think you did a great job on the curtains. They look really good. I ‘ve always loved the little canned ham. It turned out so good when y’all first got it done. I love sitting and watching hummingbirds. They’re so cute. It is a job though keeping those feeders clean and fresh food in them. The barn is a fun playground for the cats. They’re getting so big. DeeDee is so cute always sitting up there riding next to you.

The difference in us is that you actually get it done! You’re also lucky to have a partner who can always be talked into helping you - and then getting as carried away as you! Great restoration job! What a great video....loved the camper tour. The 3 barn kitties, 2 big boys & tiny DeeDee...love them all. Curtains were perfect for your camper, my 1st sewing project was in 4-H, I was around 10- many years ago - An apron! These rod top curtains were a good choice for a 1st timer. Keep up these enjoyable Mrs Cog Hill videos, simple pleasures like porch sitting w humming birds is what we long to see even if we all can't actually have those experiences ourselves.

The camper looks great! You did a great job and the yellow curtains is a cheerful addition to the happy space on the inside. I wish I lived closer to you all. Unfortunately I live in Michigan and my health isn't great for travel anymore. However, if there was ever an event with a group of podcasters that I could attend, this is the one I would love to go to.
Our second or maybe third set of baby hummingbirds just hatched out and they are so much fun. I have 6-10 feeders and they all seem covered with little birds. Good job on those curtain gal!!

Hummingbirds have been some of my favorites for most of my life. When my children were young, in elementary school, a beautiful little hummer built a nest and raised 2 babies just outside of our window. (I’m a 64 year old grandma, now. ). It was such a treat to watch those teeny, tiny babies. For your first project, you did amazing! My mother was a professional seamstress and I learned to sew at a very young age (probably 4 or 5 years old). I didn’t wear a store bought outfit until I was in high school. Keep it up Brooke! Simple projects like those curtains and soon you will be doing all kinds of fun things! Y’all have a truly joyful and blessed day!

I was in my garden and looking at my white Rose of Sharon when I saw a humming bird! I was excited! I put a bird bath out front so I can watch from my chair. It's funny when I see the outside cats in the bird bath. It has a small fountain answer is very enjoyable to watch. I absolutely love the CANNED HAM!

The kittens must be supervised while in the camper because I know they would love to climb your beautiful new curtains. I have a curtain climber well she climbs on anything shelves, tables, backs of couches, refrigerator, cabinettts, doors, exetera. We maybe if she had a barn she wouldn't climb the curtains. I just adore Hummies! Took me YEARS before I could coax a Hummie to our abode. Finally spotted THREE the other day... Typically one at a time.
