You should be extremely proud of yourself Alex. To cash in the main event at the WSOP is the dream of a lot of poker players. You played great and battled hard. Thank you for taking the time and effort of sharing your experience with us. Always rooting for you to win big !
Bro this video is freaking awesome. Not only did you cash you did it with one buy in, most people go a couple bullets and barely make cash trying to hit the top. I’m new to watching your channel but I’ve watched quite a few of your videos and you’re a hell of a player man keep it going. I look forward to future videos, man and if you’re ever in Tampa Florida at the hard rock, if you give notice, I would love to come to one of the meet ups.
WELL DONE! Congratulations! Was great fun! I was at a table near you and was rooting for you and Neeme! This Vlog captures the feelings of Day 3 and early Day 4 perfectly! Well done!
The A7cc hand: I like your turn check. Your range should have so much air on this texture that it doesn't really want to bet. So you checking a straight protects that range. If you bet all your good hands in a spot you don't have too many, would be easy to figure out your checking range in this spot would be super weak.
Watching your vlogs is helping me a lot. One day I hope to be like you killin it and grinding. I hit quads for the first time ever yesterday winning a high hand promo. Birthday luck went crazy yesterday
Sb limps large frequency not raise. You also have a turn checking leak in spots where preflop aggressor has checked the a middling/low flop...the A5 hand where he rivered a King with KQ example
AA hand I think you should bet the turn for value, same with the A6, I lead river for sure. But I understand there is more pressure when the tournament is a $10k buy in.
6:50... You know that a 6-in-a-row straight doesn't count more than the usual 5-in-a-row kind, right ;) If he has the 10, you're beat, but if he has the 4, it's a chop. Great content as usual, and congrats on the cash!!!
Bravo, congratulations, i am happy for you. I have to say and this is not usual i think you play too passive. Of course this is the main so i can't imagine the pressure, so tell me what you think of my process thinking here: - A7c i prefer the bet on the flop. But the on the turn i bet 100% for value and protection against a flush wich come 1 on 4, with your line on the river bet pot seems better ! - 94c call preflop 100% ok but i donk bet on the flop and don't check raise on the turn , you re right your line look really strong and i think you value cut yourself when he calls or get in a tuff situation on the river. - AK even if the range of bb connect more with the flop i prefer a bet to steal the pot, you re line represent nothing on the river except a robbery ;) (nice play ;) . He made a insane fold so well done but still kamikaze ;). - A5 is a cooler, he can rep a king and bluff a big part of his range to make you fold A high, so call is 100% ok. - AQ could be the only hand i play passive because you block the top pair so his call range will have majority of flush draw most of his pocket and broadway will fold so slow play can be interesting. - AK same thing than before, with the A of spade a continuation bet on the flop seems better. - AA i really like your line here and your sizings. Maybe a blocking bet at the river can induce a raise sometime and more call. - A9d delete cbet is ok here still prefer the continuation bet ;) - A6 I like to take back the lead on the turn you can rep so many hands and get so many folds, if he calls you can check any river wich not improve your hand and when you improve with the ace river get max value. Congratulations again well done.
congrats on the mid cash, u already know in tourneys u gotta play good but most important u gotta run good and catch hands, u was card dead for a while so what can u do if u not catching premiums, thanks for the vlogs, Ive learned alot from watching u n hope to play with u whenever u are back in the chicagoland area
Congratulations man how much did it cost you to stay in Vegas for the 5 day u were there for the main event, I am looking forward to be there next year
Don't take this personally, but I watch your shorts everyday and they are very informative (loaded sentence there!) The WSOP vlog is very informative and appreciate your efforts in providing the content. Get some sleep!
Dang bro, not gonna lie, it was intense watching it. You did really good. Not really any other way but let luck run it’s play. Just sucks with a lot of bad hands or bad run outs
Nice run man. I feel like you checked so much in this video which is so counter to your normal play style. I get it though, you really wanted that cash. I might have done the same
@henriwagenbrenner2869 , we met last summer playing with Wolfgang. I also went to Ohio but didn't get to play. Alex will be around the end of July to the first week of August. Hope to see you again... FireKeepers in Battle Creek...
@@richardroesler2209 Ah yess Firekeepers of course. Yes I remember meeting you :) Unfortunately I'm back in Europe - not sure when I'm back in the states, good luck on the felt!
I had a trip planned for Vegas. I prepared by watching all your vlog videos since the beginning in a span of a month. They helped a lot. Went on my trip and came back with profit from playing poker. I lost my profit playing slots tho🥲
