Start in 20' creek for 1 lb fish, then 19'- 2 lb, 18'-3 lb, etc... see if you can get to a 10' wide creek and a 10 lb fish. Now THAT'S a challenge 👍. We love your videos 😁

Nick, I love your videos and not just for the fishing! You are the only RU-vid fisherman that I am subscribed to! For 2024 I have a difficult challenge for you but I think you can do it! The hell with PB’s, I want state records! I want you to set 3 state records this coming year! It could be 1 species 3 times or 3 different species, I don’t care. Good luck and I will be watching!

I’m curious about something: you often catch large invasive species (carp) but you rarely bring frozen chunks with you on your next trip. Your freezer must be full. Love your show. My Thursday night go too! ❤

4:44 The largest channel cat I ever caught in California was a broke back Rapala with the same pattern as that crank bait. Was considered a "lucky" catch. Trolling off a houseboat for trout in Shasta, > randomly tied on the broke back and ended up bringing in a 27# channel cat.

best rig for wipers is a nightcrawler on a straight shank hook 6in below 1/4 split shot then 18 in below the bobber hook night crawler thru the nose and feed him till it goes up line 1/2 in then bring hook out his side so it looks like straight worm.

I only using lures in firetiger patterns or green orange or green and yellow collur when i fish after pike and peach i think it is on English. Almost every time i fish i get at least 4-5 bites

If it’s the spot I’m thinking of then no I’m unfortunately not allowed to fish there anymore, but I’ve since broken that pb at a couple spots I can still fish! Thanks for watching!
