I think one of the most appealing thing about 618's fishing, is the pure joy he exhibits when he catches ANY fish! I can't imagine anyone hating this man's content!
Eh there's a guy named "fishing is my drug" who goes around despite his name and gives this guy all kinds of shit, I've called him out but he never responds to me.
Things I’ve learned from watching this video. Every time you hook a fish you must say fish on, followed by a holy cow. And after you release the fish you must say, see you later buddy.
Does nobody read even a few comments before posting your own? Every other person says “turn that clicker off” and how it upsets them. I’m sure he sees the comments and knew after the first few of the hundreds of people that had to keep repeating it. And it seems everyone else has 50 to 100 pound fish where they live. Look, 618 is doing what he loves and sharing it with us. Watch the vid and if you don’t like it then kick rocks! Thanks for sharing 618 fishing. Keep doing what you love!
I'm on several fb fishing groups and I just went off on a few ppl for the same thing. Some ppl are just miserable and can't help but to put down and ridicule others. Haters! If these ppl are such bad ass fishermen, they should invest the money for all the video gear and start their own RU-vid channel!! I've caught many larger fish but so what! I really enjoy watching Nick and his enthusiasm. I love that he goes to these places that are hidden away and gets so excited! I watch his channel more than any other one. And, he seems to be doing pretty good for himself in the subscriber and advertiser game. Beat feet haters, nobody cares what you think and most of us hate bullies, you sound stupid putting him down.
If I know something helpful I share it. I'm not trying to bash people I try to be helpful. Simple tips 3 casts per spot and when doing 3 casts per spot use fast medium and slow retrieves. That way you see what retrieve fish will respond best to. Doing this you covor more water. If I see active fish in an area I'll stay there for like 10 to 15 minutes if no luck I move.
Man the negativity. I catch 100fish in a day at times yet I keep watching for the optimism and excitement and positivity. You can't catch anything bigger than what lives in the water you fish. Hats off. Great videos!
Have you ever heard the saying ‘made for video’. Well this is made for video. What is he supposed to do with 442K+ youtube Subs Be a Complete drainbow??
I'm sorry, but I just can't believe that there's no way he doesn't edit out a bunch of "non-positive" stuff. I love fishing, but on every trip there's times when I'm cussing at myself very possibly yelling at myself as well. Everyone I've ever fished with has been about the same on that note.
I have recently become addicted to your channel and I'm not even an angler, it's just so intoxicating the amount of enjoyment you get out of the whole thing and the love you have for the fish. Don't stop doing what you're doing. See you later buddy!!!
hey nick...I'm a teen father of twowho can't really fish anymore at the moment..I work 68+ hour weeks...your the only thing keeping me sane atm...fishing used to be therapy now I channel that through you..thankyou.
Wow, you had an awesome day of fishing! Congratulations on your PB gar! I still think you're going to pull a State record out of that spot. Thanks again for another great video. They are always exciting to watch!
I like how he forgot that originally he had a snake in his minnow trap. His reaction***priceless. I'm really enjoying the recent content posted on this channel. Keep on reeling my dude.
This exactly the kind of fishing I love. You never know exactly what is going to be on the other end of the line, and there is always potential for something really, really big. Before I learned all of the fish species in the river, my son and I released a couple of state records without knowing what we had. But the Missouri River has been a complete bust for all of 2019, flooding...
You definitely fish for the love of the sport. Here in Okiehoma we don't throw Gar back. Your excitement when you catch one does show your love for fishing. I do look forward to watching more of your videos. Thank you Sir
@@Bobo-id7sf Look at his videos.. Literally 90% of the videos made in the last couple months is supposedly a PB. A sad way to get views that will hurt him in the end. I don't get people's logic sometimes.
Excellent day of fishin! I work from home and the little notification you have posted a video is always a welcome reprise from the daily grind! Keep up the good work boss. Much love from CO
Just love the honestly on this channel. I just caught my pb last month but before that ... never had to fight a fish and actually get tired from it .... I believe you will have somewhat the same experience, I can tell you just enjoy the aspect of the sport, hobby, lifestyle. EVEN when I go home with no catch and release, I'm still satisfied. I feel like you appreciate fishing like that as well. Any fish no matter what size is always gana put up a little fight . LOVE FISHING ,GOOD LUCK ON YOUR PB ..TIGHT LINES!!!!
I have fished many numerous locations in this country, including serious giant catfish on the Rapahanic in VIRGINIA . You bring back those memories! No one would believe the size fish I have landed! Other than my closest fishing buddies! I love your excitement and clean mouth! Nature at its best!
Man... I really love your videos bro. Your enthusiasm is awesome. Something about your videos are just better. I really love the antique and tiny lures lol
Love your videos! Wish we had as many waterways in SoCal. It really is a desert here. However, off shore fishing here is great. If you ever get a chance to fish out here, try our California Yellowtail for a fight you absolutely won't believe. Keep up the good vids man
Amen, the positive attitude is GREAT!! You could care less what you catch, you just love to fish!!! Every fish is a trophy in its own way!! Keep it going!!
Look up El chavo del 8 on youtube ... The music playing in ur intro reminds me of that old show from back home in PR. Its Mexican though. And the song is from Bethoven i think and its called the ballad of smthng
Every time you say "Oh, he got off", I catch myself screaming "Set the damn hook then!" at my phone. Watching this is more frustrating than actually losing a fish.
New to this channel, and I enjoyed this vid! Of course that Gar wasn’t a state record but it was in the weight range. I am not as comfortable when fishing moving water, I’m still getting the feel for it. Watching you fish it makes me wanna get out there! Keep it up 👍🏻
Yep around here in ohio fishing for cats in the summer, the bite seems to turn on around 7pm till around 830 then again around 10pm till 11pm and then again round 130-3am
You're videos are gteat. My favorite fishing channel. You show us all your wins and losses, and we feel them with you . You need to set that hook like your family depends on it.
I know you want to market your videos with the titles but just let the content speak for itself. Its unique, no other fishing yt channel has the style and grace that this one does. Embrace your style dude!
When he says 5.8 lbs is a state record gar, I was puzzled... until he says SHORTNOSE gar. And I'm like oh, okay. i'm used to alligator gar the size of schoolbuses.
That’s a tiny channel cat for where I live my PB is a 22 pounder But I hope you come back and night fish that hole for big blues and channels or whatever Once again nice video
How many that size from public waters? You kind of destroyed your point by saying you were fishing little farm ponds. Must have been nice to have permission to fish there... but, let's not act like it took any more or even any less skill. More like... you had a great opportunity.
My grandfather always told me the best bait to use is worms and what you find in the water at the spot your fishing because the bigger fish (usually he was referring to channel cat or small mouth because those were what he would look forward to going for) are used to eating and they know it’s safe. He was a natural bait kinda guy and never liked using to many plastics.
Love your videos man. Please get a bigger net looks like you struggle at times. Also, just a little tip after you hook on your bait try following it up with a small square of rubber band (bike inner tube) helps keep bait on plus keeps hook point nice & proud. Greetings from England
They’re very common here in East, TN....especially this past fall. I had to get a huge black snake out of my sliding glass door. We have a very popular fishing location where you’re just as likely to catch a snake as a fish and it’s near the trout hatchery lol
Clicker is used as a bait feed method. Leaves reel in free spool enough pressure wind tide swell won't pull line. Fish bites or runs you hear the reel spooling put. Beginning fishermen cast with it on because they can't cast a conventional reel without back lash "birds nesting." Even worse fisherman cast reel and fight the fish with the clicker on. This dude knows that. He did for the comedy. Or for you to ask that question. 🤙
Every time you catch something with your net....I say "he did it" lol. I miss fishing. Haven't been in about a year. My ex husband sold my gear so I have very limited items these days. I told my spouse that I want one for mothers day. :)
The amount of views this video has versus the amount of subscribers your channel has is disappointing. You make great content. Always happy when you land one even if it breaks off. Keep them coming tight lines forever brotha! If your ever in oklahoma hit me up and we"ll get you on these monster cats we have lurking
