Sakura is hilarious lmao my Grandma used to run an equine rescue and she had long haired black cats too and they were so talkative. Miss them sometimes they were soooo needy 😆 my current cat is feral yet gentle. He doesn't mind being petted, squish his toe beans, tickle his ears, boop his nose, let him ride our shoulders, but he hates cuddles and he doesn't sleep with us he sleeps on our dresser 😆and he's so lazy when I try to play with him 😆

I really needed this to cheer me up. Because my little dog Bear passed away this morning... He was the sweetest fluffy dog I ever had. I miss him terribly... Thank you, Joey for making me laugh. That "test" shows that they trust you more than it shows temperament. Most cats, especially kittens, will only let someone they trust hold them up like that. They generally don't like being in the air with no support.

The most distinguishing feature I think between Pearl and Opal are their noses. Opal has much darker of a bridge, unless that's Pearl. Pearl is just louder lol

Easy way to tell Opal and Pearl apart is their nose. Pearl, who cries when you pick her up, has a darker nose with a slightly larger gray area. Opal, who is chill, doesn't have as much gray on her nose.

Hi joey to answer your question about why some cats don’t like belly rub’s is because there most vital organs are there so if a cat lets you touch there belly it’s because they trust you and feel safe and if they attack you is because in cat fight they cats go for the belly so they think your trying to fight them

I remember back in 2009, my kittens I always watch keeps escaping because everytime I leave, they just crawl out from the bin like it's time for food 🥺

Ideally kittens would stay with their mom and littermates until at least 12 weeks old. Although they are weaned they are still learning important social skills which makes all the difference later in life.
