It's that time of year!! The jon boat tournament season actually started last month, but we were on the struggle bus the first two. I tried to edit them individually, and even together - but it didn't flow well so I gave you a quick run down on that in the intro. This one made up for the first two, and any other unfortunate days we run into in the future.
By far one of the most memorable days I've ever had on the water and hoping to keep the momentum going. Couldn't have dreamt it better.

Caught myself with a smile on my face multiple times editing the video. It was really cool to share that fish with everyone in the tournament and it felt like everyone was genuinely hyped to see a fish that big come out of there. My main take away and hope is that we’re going to start seeing more fish that size (and hopefully bigger) moving forward.

One of the best part of this video other than your PB and lake record PB , is the fact that you get to experience this with your brother. I can assure you that this story will often be brought up at a family gatherings and will be passed on to your kids, grandkids and great grandkids.

Matt that was the best tournament video I ever seen of you and Ace. I love watching you and Ace fishing together as a team. Always make time to spend time with your brother because you never know what tomorrow will bring. My brother passed away June 2020 and I miss him. You have GOT TO LOVE the high from not only catching a PB....but, when you are so pumped and then you just talk about it for the next 30 min....you "think" you have it figured out on how to catch em from then on, etc. lol. It's a fun feeling for sure. Sometimes we just get lucky, and trigger the right fish at the right time. Good job Matt!

I absolutely LOVE to watch people fishing!!!! But I LOVE even more to see people catch fish, clean them and COOK and EAT them!!!!!!! I don't really care for "sport" fishing or hunting. I would NEVER put those animals through the stress and trauma if it wasn't my intension to EAT them. But "all around"? Fishing it EXCITING AS HECK to me!!!!!

Dude to have those kind of bags weighed in through out 3 tournaments.. holy shit bro. Y'all have some GREAT water an some GIANTS swimming around. I guarantee you there's a TEENER in there somewhere. There HAS to be. Probably the smartest fish on the lake but there no way to have that many fish close to 10 all on one day an not have a TEENER somewhere in that lake somewhere!!!! DAYUMMMMM!!!!! Awesome job man. I love the jackhammer from March to May. Check out the Zako by Gary Yamamoto. My favorite color is Green Pumpkin Shad for the jackhammer and the Zako is Green Pumpkin something. It's dark on top and the belly is white. Caught a lot a good fish on it here in North East Tennessee. Good luck and stay safe out there on and off the water. Semper Fi from an old Marine

Great job bro good time Great pb im in va ive caught a 4.3 and 5 already have a 6lb replica on wall from last year the females are moving to the beds with eggs right now. I use red orange black whopper plopper and red black orange chatterbait with blueberryblack trailer for my smallies in the spring. Its the only time I catch the monsters . More color to the water the better its crazy 😜 whats better than fishing nothing.Great vid love u guys

You should put a vent cap on your livewell lid. It will allow the gasses to escape and not foam up like that. Healthier on the fish.

I won a lot of money in a 16 ft flatbottom the bass boat guys hated me, never went more than 2-3 miles most times less than a mile ,I heard so much trash talk I had Team Flatbottom stickers made and put on my boat 😅
