As far as competitive goes. Are the specials like beams,supers, rush attacks and ultimate kinda useless? I don't think see anyone use those

Somewhat, if you’re fighting someone really good they will Incorporate certain rush attacks and counters but no beams at all in extremely high level play.

The quality of the best players in the game seems to have gone down quite a bit since back in the day. Imagine getting hit by a grab lol.

Eh, not really. I was around back then, I’ve fought and beaten players like v1337c, Fakiri, Lichi, Kombo, etc. Heck even Shingami, but in his defense when we fought he was rusty, the quality in skill hasn’t went down, it’s went astronomically higher, when I did that grab from the Super Rise it caught Skillz/Distal off guard because it’s something I never do. Always nice to see a fellow old gen comment though, hope you’re excited for sz!
