maybe you should have a "fun" rating on the index, so you can rate the uncompetitive "bad" tanks as "fun"/"not fun" or something

If it performs like this with 8+ skill crews, imagine how it would do with no skills and be ammo racked? Masochist heaven.

I actually really like this tank. It's fun and unique and not overpowered. What a premium tank should be like

The key is "if things go well". And that rarely happens in OTL. So, this tank is rarely playable.

Note folks he is using a really good crew, premium consumables and the best equipment. Just keep that in mind. Personally, I think the H.E. rework killed this before it was even released.

Hey Skill, i recommend you use Turbo with field mod, it helps you close in to the enemy side or back instead of aiming then you can unload double shot and run away

This tank NEEDS a turbo. It goes from being one of the slowest tier 8 heavies to one of the quickest due to the good power to weight. Makes setting up shots so much easier and the tank so much more flexible. Much more of a impact that vents has. Can flex around like a fat borat for side shots. Just gota not shoot 2nd shot unless its a sure thing and you have the ability to fall back. At end game just taking a hit and using its good power to weight with 38km top speed to get behind tanks to hit them for 1700 is just dumb.

I definitely like the tank. Its not op, but no matter how the game goes every time I penetrate with he I have a smile on my face.

Agreed on putting fun tabs on the index, just playing something fun is what makes the game so much more enjoyable.

With AP it has sense , you have a huge dmg to modules , you have huge pen and caliber , if there is 8 tier e75 you can pen upper plate something like this or is6 whatever

This tank is made to slow the fast games down. When there is one or two in other team you slow down and proceed with caution

I fell in love with this tank from the first moment. The only sad thig is the last HE rework.. without that it could be more fun. I played already like 100 games with Caliban with avg of 2100..which is not very good but that gun is just MEME by it self. I never viped out more mole's than woth this tank.... even with fully aimed gun you have no guarance that shell will go in the circle

You can actually climb on the pile of rubble but from the other side, it's extremely easy and you need to get on the flat bit right on top of the pile. You can shoot down into the market and even into those in cover behind the building, took that position in a Kran once and it is terrifying, they really should fix that, not gonna lie. And yeah, Caliban is FUN when it works :)) Thanks for the games!

Reminds me of the Cruiser II with the derp gun. Too bad they removed it. That was classic with super low velocity.

I think you are correct about this tank. Most games with this one I am pulling out my hair but every once in a while I have tears in my eyes from laughing so much from hitting everything. I got the Caliban in one of my Christmas boxes but I would never have bought one. Thanks for your videos...keep up the great work!

What i noticed during the last 2 days: the battles last longer... Maybe because more lootbox heavies are present.

Allways a pleasure to see you vids, despite you can win the fIrst game, i think this tank comes with 25 Shells, it should give us "the tip" on how to use the Caliban: Hyper-wise with the Shells gestion, focusing on keeping one shell in the amno bay (if possible): Your test to hit the arty with the "HE shell drop tech" with your 2 Shells makes you loose the game: because just after, even if you low roll against the T 56 with your first shell, you had the second shell to finish him instead of going back and loosing 442 hp (from the T56), and then loosing 531 hp from the Amx 13 57, to be @83 HP and "one-shotable" by him instead of having 1056 HP.

16:55 And thats why Im going full gold with Caliban. If you had APs loaded, you would have smacked the doomturtle for 1200hp. Right now I have just slightly under 2000 average damage, and I have NEVER used food in my Caliban (Im grinding credits with it).

The Caliban is a mindchanger, I came here just for your opinion on the tank and out of curiosity. Post my first two games in this vehicle I didn't understand how to play it but now I am 60 matches in and I love this tank, super fun super troll. Btw I prefer tier 9 matches and not tier 6 matches in this tank, you can penetrate most vehicles in the side or front even at tier 9 and it's more satisfying to clip Conway for 1500 or Obj 257 than to shoot at tier 6s. Another point I noticed high tiers want to rush you, when you play in a platoon this allows one person to get around the back and for example penetrate an IS-4 in the back twice and win the 2 on 1 duel.

i would have like to see the feature of the italian heavy tanks with reduced penalty of firing early, in this config as the tank is now it would work better as a true autoloader with 35-40 ish second reload

2nd battle Skill hit the bottom part of the turret ring bulge of AE Phase 1 it has more than 180mm effective armor so no penetration.

Also when you bounced the amx I think you hit a wall/pole nit the tank

I got this tank and it is a ton of fun! I really enjoy it, but I do agree with you in that it is not that competitive.

Did you notice the baboon in the last game with the 6k + dmg with defeat!!! 😲

The best replay I've seen so far had the player hit 13/13 shots and do 8400 damage.

They lowered the alpha damage of HE shells on Type 4/5 cause people were crying they got one-shot and they release a tank that can do even more damage albeit in 3.75s and they slapped it on a tank that can play against tier VI tanks.

One tip: you ABSOLUTELY need intuition in this tank. With it, you can change your entire clip in ~29 seconds, which can be essential, as although I think AP is the better overall ammo choice, sometimes the HE is essential.

I got a caliban last night and took it out for a spin. Its not a tank for everyone but man its funny to use esp when you high roll and delete a tank. Its not my style of play but its nice to change it up sometimes and have some toxic fun.

I am personally a huge fan of derp guns in this game on any platform (light, med, hev, etc). I wanted to get this tank over the holidays and spent a fair amount on boxes. I got all the other tanks instead lol. Looks like a fun tonk to pew with sadly.

Wish WG would give HE some tweeks to where somehow you shoot a Super Hellcat you dont get Screen not penned and deal 0 dmg. Give it increased module and crew dmg due to spralling.

Even on the receiving end of this tank’s 900+ alpha penetrating shot you get a sense of amazement and excitement lol.

I bought 50 boxes to get one tank and I got this. I actually love it because I laugh so much. I once out clipped Vz 55 and that is the biggest highlight. To take this tank from playable to epic is just the right mindset XD

this tank is really about having fun. this is the only tank among all tanks that has no expectations. because you don't know if you're doing 500 or 5000. but when you hit your opponent you know it's going to be fun☺

Those tasty pens on skorp. Caliban's HE is tasty but personally I prefer the Centurion 7/1's HESH. Give Caliban HESH or HEP shells and it will be utter nightmare

i played 100 battles n i like it, like small trashbarn with autoloader, yeh shell speed is very bad but somehow i hit more snapshots with it than full aimed shots with tornvagn...

Previously you did not use premium ammo. And that makes big difference

This was the tank that I got in my Loot Boxes and I was honestly pretty happy. Not my the best in my opinion, but not the worst either. Its a bit slow, but not worth a turbo. Its a meme tank that is fun to play, and I understand that I'm not carrying in. Nonetheless its hilarious to play when it goes right, and I don't get upset when it goes poorly. I don't typically go fight the heavies in it, especially not Tier X.

This is probably my new favorite tank. Competitive? No. Fun? Yes

This tank has to be THE most extreme definition of a hit or miss/go big or go home tank.

Go back and check out the T-43 again. You got it rated as playable but I think it deserves a higher rating. Maybe a new video for the extra channel!

Skill, you do not understand this tank! It is not toxic... If you empty the clip and then go to garage, you are actually ...increasing DPM of the tank! Because it take less time to start a new game then to reload Caliban for more than 1 minute! So remeber how you must play: BAM- BAM -> garage! BAM-BAM -> garage! :)

i absolutely enjoy it, my rating is so bad that having fun in this actually improves it, but just wait till you get someones side and boom boom, 65 seconds later they forget your there :D

If i go to the heavy front i use only 1 shoot and not the second one. peak when they have shot. And i have minimised the rectangle as much as it's possible. I do not snipe from far a way. It's a waste of time.

I see skill4ltu has changed the equipment loadout to match awesomeepicguys loadout for the Caliban.

What is annoying is both 180 pen on he and 292 on ap. Its a heavy tank most encounters are close range so dispersion doesn't even matter. You pull out take shots and go behind cover, dpm is irrelevant 122tm shows that. Alpha is way more important. the problem with that high of HE is it can pen lower plates of heavys.

In order to play with a Škoda T56, I need to have on in thr first place. But destiny chose to reward me with the Pornvagn, the Taliban and the 122 instead.
