‘You’re laughing, you sent out a delibird in masterball tier, and you’re laughing’ “You get what you - deserve!” *takes out +1 fluffy Bewear, audience screams*
“It’s ok this does nothing to Delibird” Takes over half HP while dynamaxed “See nothing” “I don’t have a fire move on this team but it’s ok because all of Delibird’s moves are fire.” This was quite the present, thank you. It healed me
How the heck did you even make this work 😂 Insisting in dynamaxing your DELIBIRD and choosing your moves based on which animations you felt like watching and you still won two games?! Legend.
Dumb question from a stupid outsider: Wouldn't Rufflet technically be better? It gets Hustle + Brave Bird, has more Attack, better bulk, a frankly better typing, and already has near-perfect Flying + Fighting (+ Ghost) coverage. It's a bit slower, but it does about the same damage as LO Delibird without needing to run Life Orb itself and can run something like Eviolite instead. I guess Delibird is faster, can go mixed, and has more options, but it still looks like Rufflet may be better for this role in a lot of aspects. Won't deter from your discovery though, making Delibird not just usable but damn good is a feat in of itself :)
@@neneenenejrkerre1828 male has different stats (higher atk and spe but lower defenses iirc) and a few different moves, for example i believe it gets imprison but not follow me and female gets the opposite. female is a better support mon and is generally more commonly used than male in doubles
@J Minor Originality doesnt exist as all ideas are derivative. Quit trying to sound smarter and better than people trying to have fun in the comments section about a game where you can kill god with a stuffed bear
Of course Delibird is broken. So broken, in fact, that he limits his own power both out of pity for those who are foolish (or unlucky) enough to be his opponent, and to keep anyone from suspecting his true broken power. A prime example is his blinding speed. Now, as we know, Delibird is the Santa Claus of Pokémon. The only way he could deliver presents to every house in the Pokémon world in one night is if he was the fastest Pokémon in existence. Well, guess what? He _does_ deliver presents to every house in the Pokémon world in one night, proving that he _is_ the fastest Pokémon in existence, despite his "Speed Stat" _claiming_ that his speed is mediocre. Boom, Delibird proven busted, and he knows it because he hides his true power to avoid suspicion.
Keep in mind, Speed doesn’t seem to be an indicator of movement speed. Vikavolt is said to fly at supersonic speeds, yet its speed is on the slower side, making me think that the Speed stat is more for reaction time or charging time for attacks. Therefore, we can assume that Delibird’s holding back because he’s just stalling his attacks out of pity.
Nery Ledesma You didn’t read the part where I put down that Delibird was holding back for the sake of the masses? It’s right there under “Read more”. Are you sure you read the entire thing?
What irony do you see in this? Delibird is a God. I'm almost in masterball tier with NO LOSSES because of Delibird. One team I have life orb delibird, and the other I have weakness policy. I'm going to dominate. In doubles. With Light Clay double screens grimmsnarl...and Dragapult so fighting moves don't OHKO delibird...and heal pulsers...all for the God known as Delibird 🙏
VGC: hey, games have a 15 minute time limit Pokemon: woah, what if we make passive damage animations that last 40 seconds every turn. (Not an exaggeration; 17:33-18:12)
2 v 2 battle, one side leftovers ferrothorn and coalossal use leech seed and g-max volcalith, other side black sludge venusaur and leftovers charizard, first turn they both use pledges, second turn venusaur uses leech seed charizard uses gmax fire. Maybe get some ingrains, give charizard solar power in sun... how long can we make the passive damage go???
So, this is just to explain to anyone who may be confused about why Delibird is so oppressive; You see, they say that all Pokémon are created equal but you look at Delibird and you look at the rest of them and you can see that statement is not true. Normally if you go 1-on-1 with another trainer, you got a 50/50 chance of winning but Delibird is a genetic freak and he's not normal. So, you got a 25%, at best, at beat him. Then you add Milotic to the mix, you the chances of winning drastic go down. See, the doubles at Worlds, you got a 33 1/3 chance of winning but Delibird, he got a 66 2/3 chance of winning 'cause Dracovish knows he can't beat Delibird and he's not even gonna try. So Dragapult, you take your 33 1/3 chance minus Delibird's 25% chance and you got 8 1/3 chance of winning at Worlds but then you take Delibird's 75% chance of winning if he was to go 2-on-2 and then add 66 2/3 %. Delibird got a 141 2/3 chancs of winning at Worlds. the numbers don't lie and they spell disaster for the metagame at Worlds.
Hustle boosts power of moves at the sacrifice for accuracy, but dynamax moves ignore accuracy. The extra damage from the hustle and max move, plus the boost from life orb, makes this mon a nightmare if you let it get the dynamax. Also, Max Airstream will give your team the speed buff, and Max Hailstorm can take care of focus sashed/sturdy pokemon with hail damage. Really scary when you think about it.
@@sarcastform2220 Wait, wouldnt Dracozolt be a better option then? It also has hustle, same speed stat, 100 base attack instead of delibird's 55 base attack, it leans rock and flying moves that work just as well as max hailstorm and max airstream. Pairing it with its twin from the hip Dracovish it would be a very powerful duo.
@@danielpetervine1519 well...yeah, but max airstream is way more powerful because it is brave bird instead of aerial ace and STAB, and can deal in a better way against sturdy and sash than dracovish, but actually this video specifically was pratically a total meme
I used to run a focus sash Delibird with Destiny Bond, Stealth Rocks, Freeze Dry, and Rapid Spin back in Gen 6, it killed a mega Gengar one time. Delibird really can carry.
The bird is ridiculous in singles aswell. It was so dominate in gen 7 and despite that game freak gave it a custom made item in heavy duty boots. The only reason people even used stealth rocks was to counter the iceman and now that cant even touch the bird machine.
I would make a ditto, and a delibird. That's it. Ditto transforms into Delibird, the original has life orb and the other has weakness policy. I've won before a single move has gone up.
I feel like he just put Delibird as the best as a joke and since everybody knew he was joking he made this video to make it seem like Delibird is actually OP
I finally understand why delibird is S-tier. That actually seems like a really huge oversight lol. I wonder why "the other one" is ranked lower though. Is it a typing thing?
Maybe when they release gmax geomancy xerneas the meta is going to be less centralized, right now there is no reason to run anything but Delibird + 5 Delibird supports in your team.
Delibird's Hustle boosts its attack to 343 max at Lv. 100, which is good, but there's lots of better choices. It's bulk, its speed, etc. are below average, even when compared to NFE's.
This is why Lando is coming back- they had to come up with a way to make people think there will be a way to counter Delibird. It won’t work, but they had to do *something*
Thank you for this Wolfe. Now anytime I see a Delibird on the ladder I’ll know my opponent has great taste in Poketubers but they’re a horrible judge of sarcasm 🙂
Oh no not wolfe using delibird, I had a master plan to take that thing to worlds as I havent seen anyone using its immense power. But now you've revealed to everyone how good he is delibird will be everywhere and my dreams of winning worlds with delibird is over
