Axial's ability to adapt to changing rc demands is nothing short of amazing. It might be a fun video to show just how many amazing and diverse products they had over the years. Matt you got yourself into a “That’s What She Said Situation” 48 times this year (not including livestreams). I enjoyed going back and watching every video again, it was a good refresher. 👌
I intentionally left it off, because if I'm honest, it looks great, but doesn't really "do" anything. Towing your trucks around on the back has really limited appeal for me, and since it's a terrible off-roader, I had to keep it off the list. Certainly a customizer's dream though!
Mojave 4s blows the Traxxas out of the water and makes the raptor feel like a toy grade rc vs a real hobby grade rc! The bug is so cool! I definitely need to check that out!
I have the Mojave 4s and would give it an honourable mention, but I haven't driven it yet! This review was based on releases that I've had some time with! Merry Christmas!
@@4TheRide I picked up the Mojave 4S. It’s not on the list because I haven’t driven yet (like I said above) and, if I’m honest, none of them are very towards the “scale accurate” end of the spectrum.
Some really nice cars - I really like your 'low trail' - looks to me a lot better than the high one. I myself have eyes set on a car that is not all that new - the Cross RC XT4 (love the hard body and lockable diffs).

I've got the Ford F150 HighTrail TRX-4 ... and it's so much fun. My first crawler and I take it with me on the weekends when we explore new nature areas. -- Glad to see it on your list.
Really stoked about the comp releases this year, I'm hoping this means more people at comps again. I didn't track the "thats what she said", but I am now an alcoholic from drinking everytime you said something about the size of man you prefer....as a driver figure.

My Axial cj7 just showed up today. I chose the other color combination. Watching your channels always seems to cost me more money. I purchased 6 off your list as well as many others not listed. Keep the great video content coming.

I would have bought a Fordyce RTR if they had a portal version. I converted a straight axle truck i already with a set of vanquish portals. I now have my 1st portal rig.
It really has been a great year. I'll have the Fordyce possibly before new years. If not just after. Redcat really raised the bar on their stuff. Vanquish is still number 1. Axial did a fantastic body... but still that blah 10.3 chassis. But. It's still an amazing release. Element is the company I have really been watching. I love how they just have fun.. i feel they are what axial was. Traxxas makes a durable product that works. They always look and perform great. One day.... I'll own a tamiya hahahaha.
VRD Carbon is basically a roller at best wouldn't put in same category as rest of stuff you picked but that's me. Way to many variables because can build it 10K ways.
Great list Matt!!! Just the Fordice can't be a better deal than the Phoenix because to upgrade the Fordice to the same quality diff gears and locker , you need to spend at least 110$ US, when the Fordice pot metal ones strip! And you don't get the versatility of the VFD twin, just to save 20$... Awesome work!

I'm really leaning towards building the Bugger chassis, for the sole reason of having a spare Monster Beetle body. But I wonder, does a list exist of the parts from the UTB18 that are used, and is it more or less economical to buy just those parts or to just get a UTB18 and cannibalize it? As always, love your channel and I always look forward to new videos.
Traxxas has yet to give me problems. By axiel keeps burning up but it’s only 1/24 so idc really But I wish more more crawlers had 2 speeds like the trx 4 I’m still trying to figure out which crawler to buy I want drawing abilities but I still want some speed
Really, the Utron??? Fugliest release of year it may win but top ten best releases of 23, me thinks not LOL!! the rest I am on board with but that is just an opinion and we all know what those are worth.
