I’ve always remembered this scene through hardship. When the guy I was seeing in my early 20s for over 3 years updated his fb relationship status to “in a relationship” and that was his way of breaking it off with me. I was heartbroken, I ended up losing 30 kilos, I changed my life around and met the love of my life. Unfortunately I gave birth to my stillborn daughter 9 months ago, and I was at my heaviest weight, heartbroken, angry and depressed. Now 30, I’ve currently dropped around 20 kilos, I’m back at the gym, I’m smiling again and I feel like Bridget when she’s walking on the bridge. We all go through challenges and hardship, traumatic experiences etc but the most important thing is you get up and you keep going, because sooner or later life has to get better again. Such a good, realistic and rememberable scene.
I absolutely love this movie! After the abuse i faced from my first husband, i knew i could do better and left him. Went through a painful divorce. Got myself together and started dating again. Connected with an old boyfriend, he proposed, we married and had a son. That was 32 years ago! Never to late to find true love!
My ex boyfriend cheated on me recently with his female best friend, since we're classmates at college, i felt like the poor bridget the first month after our break up, seeing him with his bff who was also my friend and is now his girlfriend, i saw this clip and i was like, No I'm not gonna let those idiots bring me down, even the song started playing in my head.... And well here I am 😂
I've just found out the man I was seeing who was single, isn't, he has a girlfriend.... Not to worry, his girlfriend will enjoy the screen shots I sent her. Lol onwards and upwards xx
I've got to leave my current job because I've shagged my boss 😂🤣 i hear ya sister.....at sit up Britain no one ever gets sacked for shagging the boss...thats a matter of principle 🤣
Why do u say that? U know she ends with a great guy she loves at the end...!! U will get your prince charming as well..!! BTW being a male, Bridget Jones is my favourite onscreen role...
If people have any hope of really finding true love which let’s face it is what we all love about Rom-coms/Richard Curtis movies in particular, they need to ditch the witchcraft and sorcery and repent to Jesus. I appreciate these movies were created in the darkness nevertheless the point still stands. Do you see sorcery taking place in this movie? Would we like this movie if everyone was a villain? And so terrible a villain that they ransack and pillage heads? I don’t think so. The characters were at least authentic and vulnerable and honest and genuine. And the bad boy only somewhat of a bad boy comparative to all the space aliens 👽 in society now. So yeah. Get it together society or you won’t find true love. You’re just going get a disease and vomit from seeing inappropriate relations of family members in the darkness that should make your stomach curdle. Reject the devil!!
