I still have mine on, I have yet to die because of them. I only die by turret pen, frontal pen, directly from the side, or planes. So in my experience they haven’t been any greater a weak spot than the turret is, and I like being able to throw smoke
@acatsforklift I totally agree, I like the ability to throw smoke BUT it's a bit like saying as a pack a day smoker I don't have cancer yet or may die of natural causes😂 Sure it may not happen but it definitely can happen. If I get time tonight I'll try and rock the extras and see what happens🫡
Call Tom, Tom, Tom, Tom Tom Hoge tog tog Dog tog tog tog tog tog tog cha-cha-cha cha-cha-cha tog tog tog tog the British tank talk talk talk talk talk talk
I think the reason why it able to shoot while firing is due to its design. Because of how long it is and how heavy it is at the back the rear acts like a counter weight while also roadwheels on TOG are quite small compare to other tanks like Maus. Maus has similar effect too but it being slightly less stable due to its hight and being slightly faster.
2:40 Its 94 mm cannon, and its the same caliber as the tortoise much later on down the tech tree. 5:25 It is not stabilized like every 75 and 76 jumbo is. Its stabilized purely on slow speeds. Almost every other vehicle traveling at 9 mph would be stabilized on smooth surfaces too. Of course, the very fast elevation speed helps too
Someone shown me in warthunder, if you use EMS smoke it wont protect from thermals, but normal smoke from a dispenser will (maybe it was a glitch, but if its intended its weird)
The TOG uses the challenger turret which has a very quick turret traverse rate and the extra room allows the quicker reload, but since the round is larger it has a longer reload
@@liamboyle9199 I think its more the style of the turret which is causing confusion. The TOG came well before the Challenger (1941 vs 1944) and the turrets are similar, but the TOG has way more armour. The Challenger's turret may have been based on the TOG's though, since at one point the TOG did use the 17pdr. I doubt they're the exact same turret because I think the TOG's turret would rather heavy for the Challenger's Hull
Once you get used to the velocity of the gun (less than the 17-pounders) you will have a blast with this thing! It doesn't care about angles at all (it'll go through an angled Tiger I or Soviet tank like butter).
reversibg with tog is viable but always will kill your engine, no shell can pen and not fuse before it gets to the crew, which is great, but against AP its no hope
It has no suspension at ALL which is why it is stable, because there is no suspension sway causing instability, and the traverse speed being so high helps stabilize it slightly as well
The reason its 'stabilized' is because it moves slow. Try any other tank at 15 kph on a smooth surface and see if the barrel is flying everywhere. Its really only when stopping does the stiff suspension do anything
I’ve only played against the tog in full downtiers in my 6.3 u.s lineup and I felt so bad for them the bulldog can absolutely bully the poor thing I didn’t even really enjoy doing it
