They should move the spawn zone behind the actual map borders and let us choose where to spawn along that strip - once the map border gets crossed there is no way back and there is a 60 second timer to get on to the map

I think Players spawn should be protected like how airfields are, have some pill boxes lining the spawn point and give them a short range so they'll only get shot at a certain distance, a range that won't make them useless, but not OP, we've already seen the cannons on some maps, might as well use them for something lol

thats how it used to be during the beta people would get clapped by anti tank guns on some maps but that was removed plus team killing was a thing aswell

maybe allowing artillery to fire near the location of the spawn camper. if u are near the spawn (red outline) u will be constantly bombarded but if u snipe camping, artillery will rain down on that location just like calling artillery, for a short duration of time.

For spawn camping, my idea is mines, maybe some distance from spawns which will be activated when enemies get close to an area. Another thing is, if the tank doesnt get to an area after spawn and an enemy shoots, the enemy explode and fined a million SL. That way, the enemies should wait on points to engage the enemies. Also, it would affect air targets as well.

The million sl is too harsch. And i dont really find spawn camping, atleast on my servers, to be an issue. Most of the tile it just means the enemy team was better and crushed your team. I dont come across many real spawn campers but they can be sometimes annoying yes

- Make the spawn zone smaller. - Slap an invisible box over it that destroys all projectiles, both incoming and outgoing. I haven't touched Warthunder in years, since when Ho.229 and Ar 234 C-3 were the German top planes, and it looks like they still can't fix their shit without making the game into hill-hugger simulator...

Nah, not outgoing. That wouldent solve spawn camping in the slightest. Your just gonna have people waiting outside the box waiting for enemies to leave just to one tap them. The destroying projectiles as they enter the box is a good idea, but not the projectiles leaving the box

@@Tango_Mango1 best way is to make maps and the game plays like BF3 conquer mode. then you wouldn't have small map issues because you just need to stretch it into a giant rectangle and make flexible spawning depend whether you have teammates around or not.

Main problem I have with War Thunder lately is how 90% of every ground battle inevitably turns into a battle full of fighters and bombers halfway through and becomes an air battle. Yes I have planes, but i'm playing tank because I want to play tank damnit. And yes people play AA, but they rarely do it effectively so they might as well not be there. They need to separate modes where you can choose to play without air if you want.

I think to fix the spawn killing issues, you could move the spawns back away from the combat area a bit further, i.e. expand the map to do so. Then keep the actual combat area the same, and lock off the new area you've created such that only people of the team whose spawn is on that side can enter the area. So you'd have a strip of land either side of the map only accessible by red or blue team, and if the other team enters it, they just get insta killed by the game or something. I think I'd still allow shooting in/out of this area, but ensure that the spawn itself couldn't be fired into, either due to terrain or range. That way it allows you to move away from spawn, and be in some form of viable cover when you get to a point where you could conceivably be engaged. This would prevent the enemy literally sitting in your spawn, sneaking around behind your spawn, it'd avoid spawn bombing from above, and generally allows you to get your bearings after spawning before entering the battle. You're of course incentivized to leave that area into the main battle area as that's where the objectives are.

If anyone that is killed within their respective spawn the person who kills you has to pay a hefty penalty. This penalty will not happen if this person is out of his/her spawn.

Multiple spawn locations are already doing it, unlockable spawn locations (like an emergency spawn if your team is about to lose) could help further.

One way to mitigate spawn camping would be to have shots only do damage within the current “detection” zone. That way if your team has pushed to the enemy spawn there is no protection while at the same time preventing across the map sniping. Just a thought.

They should have spawn points be resupply zones. I mean, it's home base and it's the farthest back you can go from the enemy. It really should be a thing no matter what match type you get into. I don't want it to be a cap-point. Just a resupply and repair/replenish point.

Easies fix for spawn camping planes being pests Just implement a 30 second spawn buff that makes incoming damage reflected. So any planes, helis or tanks camping just destroy themselves or cut themselves instead of the people they are spawn camping.

7:38, man I just had that kind of conversation with some crack heads who keeps somehow telling me that "NOOOOOOOO The China MBT is their own Tank development!!!! It totally doesn't share Engineering design and concepts from the Soviet/Russia!!!!!", like bruh, I cannot see those China MBT without seeing those T-64/72/80 design under those cosmetic outer packaging armor. Gaijin should really made a Resupply zone at the base, to restock Rounds and FPE/Crew at least One time, I know this will slow the gameplay down but c'mon, You can't expect me to move my ass to a single Capture point to rearm right? the point is literally a Heated point for everyone to dog pile on, the T-72AV rushers, the Leopard rushers, the M1 KVT rushers, the Helicopters with dumb rockets and even CAS with their mini-nukes I had a thought of how to prevent CAS bombing being an annoying issue, being that CAS Bombs should only be delaying you from reaching the objective/doing things, thus you should be able to respawn again for no spawn cost, the catch being that you can only spawn the vehicle/tank you spawned while getting bombed, while the Plane's gun should kill you outright Unfortunately Spawn killing is intentional game design, I argue that Gaijin should add more and more barriers and break line of sight with bushes or Wreckage or even a Proper Base design to prevent from Spawn to Spawn killing I have issue with "Spawn to Spawn Killing" but not "Late Game Spawn killing" Overall I think LOSAT still going to get updated to try and fix that dumb kinetic rocket gone after 1 fence hit, good on you for trying to make the LOSAT working.

I think the optimal way to stop spawn killing is to create a situation where an enemy can't look at both spawns at once while both spawns can look at the enemy, and also make the spawn less safe(imagine it being on a hill or something) so that nobody camps in thier spawns and instead pushes forward.

i was thinking...if LOSAT has a fixed turret like that...what happen if you give that turret on the STRV 103 hull aiming? i think it would fix alot of problem with the missile hitting the ground or overshooting it

The missile us modelled incorrectly, it shouldn't autocorrect that much, and it is way too unstable. The testing server or whatever you cal it has it modelled like it should.

going to give you a hint why its so terrible, Gaijin said that the missle performance is tied to PING!! and your ping during the first match was 194 which is terrible. and i have a gigbit connection and maybe 12 ping at best and i have no problems firing and manuevering this missle at all. Walked away a 10 kill streak in a single losat. Kinda dumb that this simple problem can be such a massive problem for players i think gaijin needs to review there netcode since if performance is tied to gameplay thats kind of a big deal.

@panzer: how much effort and work goes into a channel like this? how long does it take to record a vodeo of this length and what recording software do you use? also, what about leo2a4 squad...

Honestly, quite a lot. I use OBS to record and each War Thunder video can take up as much as a few hours to record just because it's multiplayer and you never know how each match will turn out. The editing also depends on how much I record but it can take a day or more.

Also, isn’t the leopard 2a4 supposed to get DM33 in addition to DM23? Cause there are so many tanks at lower brs with better armor and ammunition *cough cough* turms *cough* and not to mention the 2A5 with L/44 DM53. Would it be so unbalanced to give my baby some love?

Do you think a patriot system could be use for spawn deference. Idk if thoes systems can actully defend against tank shells and such. But something like that seems reasonable.

The Cram Centurian system would be more suitable than the patriot system because the patriot system is designed to intercept cruise and ballistic missiles and aircraft but not at tree-top level while the Cram Centurian system is designed for intercepting projectiles that are fired on an arching trajectory that comes down from above such as the name suggests surface to surface missiles and artillery and mortars If you want to find out more about air defence look up habitual line crosser

I love the LOSAT, its terrible though :( edit: to prevent spawn camping. Just make people invulnerable in their spawn until they leave. It would stop low tier from rushing enemy spawn the moment the points get taken.

Mach 4.3 apparently. But some say Mach 5 and above is hypersonic so idk for sure.

Gday, for porn campers how would a system like AA batteries are for air fields with artillery batteries surrounding your teams spawn the AI unloads on taking out porn wankers. the second layer is to have several protected lanes of ridges and structure the batteries fire along you have fanning out able to choose from using to escape while under cover fire. a more radical possibility is to remove third person viewing mechanic being only able to see from an actual position of being a crew member and their available real life field of view and angles at that that crew position visuals over the terrain raising difficulty level in game in one respect but levelling the playing field with player experience levels with camera angles on target. this includes aircraft in realistic battles as it does the ground vehicles to cockpit veiw and may narrow the op cas gap.
