Find someone with experience with color. Make sure that they use Olaplex or something similar to protect your hair. Remember to moisturize, moisturize, moisturize your hair.
Box dye has nvr damaged my hair. Regardless if u use any chemicals in your hair ( relaxers, dyes etc ) & do not take care of it, it will cause damage. So just be sure to keep up w your treatments etc. this color turned out so wonderful & compliments your skintone so beautifully. 🤍
I big chopped my hair in 2020 over quarantine and impulsively bleached it to red. I bleach my roots once a month after I get half an inch of hair growth and my hair is soooo healthy and strong! It has grown out tremendously and I went from neck length to mid back length in a year. I bleach it myself and I maintain my hair by deep conditioning and keeping it natural (lots of wash and go’s). As long as you maintain and care for your hair often you should have no problem at all with the bleach! ❤️
Use Olaplex. Also, use moisturizing products. Hot oil treatments help. Don't use a lot of heat. I'm going to limit silk presses. It is drying. I had two big chop because of chemical damage.
I feel you. Been natural for 5 years and my hair is thriving. Before I became natural I had a stylist put color in my hair and my hair broke off and fell out by the clunks. I was so hurt. I cut it off and started from the beginning and told myself I would never get color again. I will get a black semi color but nothing else. I will never go relaxed. I love when women do different things with their hair, but I can't my hair will break. So I stick with what works for me.
Love it! The color style. I always feel my hair will only grow a certain length and then I have to start over. Excited to see the length journey you’ll go on
Beautiful! I had similar color 2 years ago when I cut my hair in a tappered cut. Now it's grown out and I placed a black rinse in it to help it look thicker since I have thinner looking hair, but healthy is a win!
It’s BOMB….Love it! I was getting bored with my hair and wanted something new so I dyed my hair two weeks ago! Well my stylist did lol I went with red highlights🙃 it was so unexpected and everyone loves it including me…so glad I did it because it’s just hair right?! Your hair should reflect your personality and can definitely boost your confidence🤗You look amazing!
I’m definitely shocked, because I remember the last time you colored your hair and you was like never again 😂 But this is definitely a game changer love this color on you!🥰
Your hair looks so good. I just cut, colored and straightened my hair for the first time in a few years. I'm happy with everything and plan to see my stylist more often too.
I love love your hair. I myself have colored for the last 57 years so i know how you feel when you said your just wanted a change. Your hair is very very healthly you take such good care yes its nice to brighten up your face from time to time loved this video thank you for share loved your results ❤
Your hair looks gorgeous love this look color came out great also looking forward to see how it will transform in December but I'm loving it either way
It’s beautiful. Thinking about coloring my hair too. I really appreciate the tip for the new stylist. I love your videos as they inspire me to love my curly hair even more. Thank you!
I had to grip my chest with hair envy!!! In the video, the color looks super yellow like it needs to be toned some more. But in the end at 16:40 where you show a trio of pictures, the color looks perfect in the center photo. I don't know if that's a filter but that ash blonde looks amazing!
I love it!!! My front section is like yours super loose. My stylist said it's because of the length it is now. Idk if I would color my hair again it was a lot more work keeping up my highlights.
Super gorgeous. I’m fully blonde so I’m definitely a daredevil. My stylist always reiterate to me that any color inspo pics I show doesn’t guarantee mine will look the same based on a number of factors. I agree with the other comment that I love this color more!
Love the color and style. I have been dying to get a silk press and just made an appt for one next week. Hope it comes out this pretty!! I haven't blown out & straightened my hair in 2 years. It's time to switch it up a bit. Your hair looks absolutely gorgeous! Such a great job!
I was surprised you colored it again, but excited and glad you went with a professional! I’ve been a colored natural most of my journey and this year I grew past my growth plateau with the help of a professional without the need to give up my love for color. Can’t wait to see your journey from here 😁
I love the way the color reflected in that middle pose with the three side by side views. it looked more light brown and was beautiful!!! I actually receive these same results on my natural hair using clairol "textures & tones" box color. It is ammonia free and is amazing!!! I never get any damage and it actually makes my curls pop!! Thank you for this amazing video! I am always inspired by all of your content and have learned so much from you these past few pandemic years managing my natural hair.💕
Glad the color works for you. The More natural look is better for me but kudos to you for stepping out for he box!! Your hair is so healthy and beautiful girl you are blessed!!
I definitely cannot believe that you colored your hair but girl I LOVE it. I am like you, bored with my hair, so I’ll be getting it colored for Bday in a couple weeks.
The result looks beautiful ! I was a bit shocked because of your last expérience with color. You're right it's best to get it from hair stylist instead of using a box duy.
The shrinkage is real. This color looked fabulous 👌. I am in the process of growing out my hair and wanting to color it to come next year to switch things up.
I'm about to get my natural hair highlighted for the first time. I had my consultation but I don't think it went well aa I couldn't explain what I wanted and that stylist wasn't helping me. She said she can't see what's in my head lol. But my appt. Is coming up and watching these videos are helping to capture what I have in mind. Thank you.
It's beautiful. I did go through a similar process in August. I love my light golden blonde highlights. It cost a pretty penny but it was worth it. You don't want to do this on the cheap. I have no chemical hair damage. That's what I paid for.
Yes you get what you pay for. Would never attempt on myself or go to someone inexperienced or doing it for the low. Might have to pay for it another way later on 😂
@@Spokentruths725 I paid $400 dollars for blond hair. There's no damage. I watched a RU-vidr's video describing the process used on her platinum blonde hair. It cost $500 dollars.
Your hair is beautiful as always. I will say after 8 years I had my hair straightened to get a perfect cut last year. My curls have not been the same. So heat does make a difference at least with mine. And that was the only time I ever had heat in my hair.
I have been dying to find a natural hair place here in south Florida! Heard of here but I’ve been waiting for her to open up again to new clients since January 2020😭😭 I pray she opens up again!!!!
