Hello, I am a 50 something American who has recently discovered your dreamy channel and wanted to tell you after seeing this video that you have become my favorite channel and I find that my blood pressure immediately drops when I view your videos. They are beautifully recorded and I find I am living my French dream life through your channel. There is nothing I would change about everything that I have seen you and Oloff accomplish. It amazes me that you have time for all that you do and I just wanted you to know that you are making a big difference in many lives. I am slowly watching through the videos in the best order I can to watch the farm progress to its current state- so beautifully and authentically done. I have some questions about your move from the Netherlands to in France and buying property but I’ll save that for another message. That's so funny, yes, I have a RU-vid channel and I often will catch a view or a sight that I think viewers would enjoy, sometimes quite mundane things but lovely from a filming perspective. I actually filmed myself watching your video since I'me getting ready to head to France for a month! So glad you're not quitting.

We moved to France 2 years ago from uk and just moved into our property which needs renovating completely. This week we built a very simple outdoor solar shower and it felt wonderful to shower in the sun under a fig tree (as long as we won't have to do this in winter!). This is about your paint job and my “journey” about it. When you taped off the area, I thought really? When you used the brilliant white paint, I thought hm, quite a contrast, but better than I expected. After you used the warmer white and took off the tape, I thought look how beautiful! Goes to show that I should reserve my judgement til the end 😊. Quite a transformation!

Then I bought a house in the country but until now, I've never really realized I had made a conscious decision to move away from certain aspects of city life I did not enjoy anymore and embraced all that is truly country and peaceful. Thanks again for another great video. I think you demonstrate a lot of freedom and I dependent spirit in sharing your life and where you live. Some people don’t have that and these comments certainly come from a part of envy or ignorance. One thing that stroke me when I went back to France (I’m French living in California) is the birds singing so loud all the time. Your video definitely illustrate what beautiful singers these birds are. Hearing the birds sing makes you feel so much alive and that’s something I miss in California. I am not sure if it’s because we have less trees or the types of birds we have here but I do love to hear them « piailler » when I am in France for sure! I am finding my own difficulties with trying to create the life in France I have always dreamed of , and I have at times felt like giving up. But then I watch your videos and it lifts my mood, it helps me to remember why I am doing what I am doing, helps me to re centre and re direct my thought process to one that is more positive. I am forever taking screens shots of your decor and I also follow you on Instagram. There will always be people that find pleasure in hurting others, and for me it is due to their own discontentment within their own lives.
