just an fyi, this isn't how you should actually cook a a Maine lobster, I've never seen someone kill it before throwing it in, however this is not a problem as this IS NOT A MAINE LOBSTER, if it was it would be illegal, lobstermen are not legally allowed to catch lobsters over 3.5 lbs. in Maine waters, meaning that if you actually got this from a legal fishery it was caught in national waters and then brought to New Hampshire or Canada. added notes: get a bigger pot, do more factchecking, how did it taste?
Yeah there's NO way that's a legally Maine caught lobster, legal Maine lobsters are rarely over 3 lbs . It's kinda sad, that big guy is a big old breeder and necessary for the stability of the population. I really hope he didn't catch this thing himself.
