I couldn’t f@ckin believe this !!! I was gifted a juvenile Eagle feather .So significant to me.WOW 

You know what , that’s the first time anyone has ever said that to me and you may have nailed something VERY significant there Tim . I have several very close friends that I trust with my life and they are First Nations men . The one guy gave me an Eagle Feather when my dad passed , he said my dad left it for me !!!! ​@@laurajenson3414 That is really cool. I really have to head north to the White Mountains or over to the Kaibab. I have had some feelings lately that I experienced when I was a kid in Washington state. It happened a couple of times when I was out being a kid in the timber. I knew for sure they were there. They communicated to me, not with me. I had no idea how to communicate with them. It happened 3 or 4 times on different occasions. It wasn't mind speak. I didn't hear any words in my head. They were like feelings. That is the best way to describe what went on. I always have trouble explaining it so I rarely tell people this. Not because they'll think I'm lying or I'm an idiot but because I don't know how to put into words what went on back then. I have told Daron about those incidents. The feelings were kind of like a belonging to the forest and everything in it including the tiniest blade of grass or pine needle. But it felt like I was way out on the edge of that acceptance or belonging. Other times it was kind of like a warning or an announcement that they had just been there or were there with me. It was a feeling that conveyed a message making me feel I did not have to worry about them being around there. A feeling of knowledge and acceptance along with kind of like a calm feeling I guess. A calmness or a relaxed state with no anxiety or worries along with an announcement of their presence around me at the moment or were just there. Feelings of kindness and good will after I accepted or kind of understood what they were making me feel. ReallyWeird, I know. I guess they were communicating through emotion that they represented no threat and there was no bad intentions. Twice it happened when I was at one of the springs on my family's land. The other times I was at the little lean-to my brother and I built. It was my home base when out in that part of the timber. The calmness felt forced and I had to accept it. But there were no negative feelings or negative vibes, like I said. It was kind of a low-key happiness and knowledge of their presence. I'm sorry I just unloaded all of that on you. Lol. Talking about your water source is what jarred that memory loose. The spring was my great-great-grandfather's water source. Lately I've been feeling something that's kind of similar to those old feelings. But I am unable to define it or decode them like I almost instantly did as a kid. I really really want to go up to Northern Arizona. Strawberry, AZ and that surrounding area have a lot of sightings. I told Daron I have a lot of questions but it's not something I can ask through him lol. Anyways, again, sorry about the book I just commented.

@knockharder3554 OH goodness, no worries. My water source is like a stream right now. It's about 700 feet down a newly cut trail. I'm on the southern oregon coast. I've only seen the feet off one through brush when I was 9. I believe it was a female. But I know they are around. I was only scared out of the woods once when I was bow hunting in northern Minnesota. It was weird , instant fear. I have no need to search for them. I don't gift. But I get little hints when they are around, lol. I let them live and I just go about my life. I carry when wandering around up here. I always stretch to the morning sun and send blessings to all the creatures big and small for a blessed day.

@@laurajenson3414 I have never seen one of them at all. I have seen the aftermath of the tree knocks, breaks, and crashing sounds. But that's about it. Just evidence of them, besides those feelings I was talking about. Blessings to you and yours.

I think it all had to do with killing birds solely for decorative use of feathers..back in the early 1900s they used them on hats & fancy ladies things. Blowing away iridescent birds was happening. Eagle though, was because it was u.s. symbol I think. They made whole species extinct, so law had to be made.

@@outlawcountry6069 yes I can do that absolutely. He is one of the wisest and kindest men I think I have ever met. I am Native and my father is Irish I believe. My mother was not allowed to keep me after I was born because it was law in Canada that single native mothers were not allowed to keep their children. I grew up not knowing anything about my ancestry or the culture of my mother. The Elder I'm referring to has been amazing and welcomed me. He has taught me so much. I would be happy to find out and email you what he says. I know it has very special meaning because it is an Eagle feather and the eagle feather is sacred to the Cree.
