I'm a full on advocate for pirating anything you've owned before. You bought adobe subscription? Pirate it the rest of the time after that first month. You've already owned a game before? Pirate it. You deserve to own the thing you buy. In my opinion. The natural progression from VCR tapes to DVDs would be to put a game on a USB flashdrive and sell games that way. It would have been smart and perfect. You would own the game and if it required something like steam you could download that to play the game. Like CS2 needs Valve servers right? Have steam to play it. With things that are single player it should just be the game alone. I've stood by this for years and years. This was too far of a jump. We skipped that awesome feeling of being a hacker inserting new USB sticks we bought to play our favorite game. Plus think about the awesome USB stick designs that could have come from an era like that.

Pirating Adobe would just made their products become industry's standard and be used everywhere, then companies would be the one to buy them out of necessity, because they're afraid of being sued. This happened in my country with Adobe and Microsoft. We need better competitor apps.

YES LET THE DEER TAKE OVER 👏👏👏 Been very happy with the Affinity Lifetime license since I got it lol. Been able to find most of what I used to use in some way and they have sales a lot! You lose the like industry specific features like cloud and automation likely (haven't checked) but workflow was nice and they had some features I didn't think about wanting lol.
