Hello Everyone! Its Tiffany with Thrifting Vegas. I shop at thrift stores, estate sales, garage sales and discount stores for items I can resell for a profit on online platforms like eBay, Poshmark and Offer-Up.
I've NEVER found one in this pattern before, and it's been a while, probably about a year since I found the last one! They must have just restocked the store because I couldn't believe it was there. Its a Friday afternoon and I'm so excited because I've been shopping at other Thrift Stores and filming on the road in Southern California so its been about 2 weeks since I shopped here at my favorite Las Vegas Goodwill. The shelves are full and its not too busy and I can't wait to find some treasures and fill my cart. Thrift with me and learn what to bolo and what to leave on the shelf and why. Among my finds were a gorgeous honey amber vintage pitcher, inlaid silver plate box with semi precious stones, an Incolay Rose Quartz Music Box and a Windstone Editions Sea Fire Mermaid Wall Hanging Planter by Melody Pena. When you asked Bear to say "hi", you brought back memories of years ago! We adopted my Great Aunt's Portugese Water dog mix, when she moved to FL, and our daughter sat under the dining room table trying to get Toby to say HELLO! One day when we got home from grocery shopping, we were all busy bringing in the bags, when all of a sudden, from under the table, Toby yelled HELLO! OMGOSH, we were so excited, but we hadn't said hello to him yet and he wanted our attention and used HELLO to get it. Was too funny and he was a great dog! Miss all five of our adopted dogs over 52 years of marriage! They were all family members.

The pansy giraffe coordinates perfectly with a Waverly trilogy of pansy fabric designs in the 1980s. Mario Buatta also favored this pansy feast.

Hi Tiffany great haul! The Tommy Bahama plastic stemless glasses you passed up sell for around $44 dollars! That is a sold price and I thought I saw more than one set in original packaging. Great job Miley! Nice vintage glass you picked out 😁❤️

The mystery of the countless pan lids must be because the pans wear out, but lids stay in great condition, because they don't take the wear and tear. I do a lot of glass art... such as Garden whimsies, I am always looking for interesting pieces. Thrifting is a fabulous way to get those items. I have so many fun items decorating my garden, I often find people at the front gate taking pictures. Such fun!

The metal box at the 5:00 mark - those are actually made in India, probably 1970s/80s. The stones are agate - I've had quite a few pendants in the same style and they always sell quickly.

I actually made it to Goodwill about 50 miles (2 counties) away Monday. I saw something that I remember from about 55 years ago White milkglass party plates and little matching cups They were asking $2.99 each for the plates. They were very heavy. I Had a few items in mind. I left with nothing. Their selection was way down, and prices have increased at least 25 %. I had health and welfare checks that day so I could not get to the one in the nrext town. I love the pansy giraffe.

I would have bought that creamer, it has. a deco look. I collect the creamers. I don't like everything to match,unless very formal;therefore the odd creamers and pitchers,add a little bit of magical look to the table. Watching the thrifters,vintage and antique videos give. my creativity excitement. I like how you take time and really let us see what is on the shelves.. Some, go so fast and only focus on what they want. Did you see that mug,that matched the creamer you left,it could have actually been the sugar bowl. I imagine, the lld. may also be on another shelf. You always get beaurtiful and actually valuable items. I,would have,also got that lavender and purple stripe dish. I always see some item,that I would have purchased. I don't thrift to resell, but for myself or for a gift,for a friend,or family member. I am also,like you,we select many items,that are similar and unusual. That giraffe, would def be. in my home.also the yellow elephant. Lately,I am going more towards,flowers,especially violets and peonies. My likes have changed greatly. I just have no space to buy anything and I am not a yard sale,seller,so It is taking me a long time to downsize,in fact,I don't even shop anymore. I still like to thrift but I just can't go in the stores,I am to tempted. I really enjoy your channel. I would really buy the trinket box with the gemstones,It would make a beautiful ,setting as a little treasure chest,with a strand of fake pearls,or just assorted strands of various colored beads,hanging out. Yes.I still hsve a pin cushion with the Chinese children in a circle. Jo-ann Frabrics still sells them. I looked at this video 3 times and actually there were cups,that matched the creamer,so I think there are saucers and possiblyba sugar bowl and maybe a teapot or chocate pot,or even a coffee pot to match. There may have even been the plates and salad bowls and sandwich plates. I think the stores separate sets and send to other stores,especially,if items don't come in together. I think the duck tureen,is made in that shape,because Europeans ,often do not always cut the heads off sorta like roasted pigs,so when they cook,they need something large enough to fit the full duck, We roast whole chickens and capons so that size would be perfect. The problem with watching the videos I feel like I am shopping,and then want to go to the stores and see if,I can find the item or similar. We don't have the great selections,like other cities. Sometimes you don't put things carefully back and set heavy plates on top of fragil ones. I don't think you realize you do that. Some thrifters just leave. close to the edge of knockk items next to each other.. The worse are people at yard sales. the problem with turning mugs or glassware upside down,the rims chip and crack,unless the shelves are padded. i like how you cushion your cart. I would have bought the glass trees and many ornamental Christmas balls and ribbons and repurposed for the people in nursing homes. Writing their names or adding little sprigs of holly,winterberries etc and put the ribbon through the hanger. can also put stickers on,for seasonal. I think the teacup that was by itself matched the saucer that was wrapped with the odd teacup. I think you can find a saucer to match the thistle teacup. I was right the teacup matched the saucer.

You can send Nambe back to the manufacturer if it’s scratched and has lost it’s shine. It does cost approximately $80 to ship and have it done but a new piece is well into the hundreds so if you love Nambe and pick it up for 4 dollars in Goodwill it certainly is worth it. They also make a special polishing cream for their own products it works amazingly well

The lamps- Holy marrie- i wish for the jade ones, Thrift-store pagen-gawd, transfer them to DE bc im social worker (little salary-lol- but going to thrift and picking out stuff as my therapy in all neighborhoods which has been a blessing!) … the pin cushion- omg - grew up with that in MN! the amber blob lamp- so many reflection pieces to my life- luv u guys so much!

The thrift stores in my area NEVER have anything that is even worth taking off the shelves, let alone taking home ! Not sure why that is because I live in a area that is a big vacation and tourist area ! I still look but rarely find anything! 😟

Tiffany and Miley, thank you so much. Tiffany you are tired of me whining about how little we have to buy and re-sell in Ireland but, amazingly, I found and sold two Starbucks mugs for €40 🤩 woo hoo! The other interesting thing is that our charity shops are flooded with Aynsley china and you can't give it away. Funny how things differ from one market to another. Your daughter is beautiful and very like you. She made a good choice. My pick of the day has to be the pottery vase - my heart missed a beat when you picked it up in the store and I was praying you would put in in the cart 😂. Looking forward to the next one!!!

Hi Tiffany 🌼Great Haul. So many good finds. I love unique boxes. The one with all the stones is awesome. The elephant is so cheerful. I sell newer pieces sometimes just as well as a vintage piece.
