This is super cute. You probably have already found out, but they are called Battle Talus, but you were pretty close with Bone Talus! Also, the Bokoblin falling off of the bridge in the back doesn't have ears! Oh no!😅
Oh my God you're right LMFAOOO I forgot to give him ears! I had to get up and go look at the craft and, sure enough, the dude has no ears I don't know why but I never caught that LMAO! Also, have you found this guy with the bone arms specifically? Or just the battle taluses that have normal rock arms? For the life of me I can't find the bone arm battle talus and I am afraid he was nothing but concept art that didn't make the cut ;-; I'm so glad you enjoyed, though!
@@CrossingCrafts I just beat the game (literally looking at the end credits as I type this) and have over 270 hours in it and I have not come across any with the bones like this one. It may just be a concept art thing, but that makes your sculpture special! Not many people will make this one specifically!

@@Mario-bj4gu it is the same thing, it's just concept art. concept art tests design variations, both were possible designs for a battle talus. you'll note that plenty of the battle taluses around hyrule and in the depths have tusks/horns/bones as part of their design, just filed much shorter so that the talus can actually properly act by throwing boulders because otherwise, conceptually, the design makes no sense and it has no realistic way of actually attacking link. she mentions immediately once she starts crafting that she cannot read japanese and it is not actually called a bone talus, she just thought it was a funny play on words compared to "stone talus". same thing, she never says anything else, just that she was making the design variation shown on the right side of the page and not the left that had already been shown in a trailer. both are still concepts for a battle talus. (also some of the early breath of the wild concept art contained horrors beyond belief that look nothing like the final game art, so i think its reasonable to think this is in fact just another battle talus design that they ruled out as being useable as a real game asset and not some variation of the monsters, since it still prominently features the bokoblins using it as a platform)

I will never get over how well you capture the tiniest of details. The skull at the top looks like it was ripped STRAIGHT from the game, and their weapons are absolutely ADORABLE 🥰🥰
I made it past the spoiler this time and watched it all! omg the sleeping one is so cute, and the one eye squint on the archer one! 😆I love all the little details you put in, like the rings on the club to make it look like it’s from a tree, the little bow and the cute little bomb arrow. Amazing sculpt as always!

Well, in a way, you’re right! They only ever showed us the Talus without bone arms, but it does have the same platforms and what-not as the one they showed us in the first trailer. I wanted to be cautious as to not spoil anything _too_ much from the art book, so I figured I was safe since everyone’s pretty much seen the other talus which is basically the same thing only without the bones

I tried looking it up on some translate apps, but both translations ended up different lmao! I figured it was just a little addendum like, “ah, yes, this one has bone”
