I’ve been watching Studson for about a year and when I ran out of his videos to watch (more like rewatch😂) I found you! You both have similar styles and I absolutely love it! Keep up the amazing work 🥰
Finding a crafter who has the same vibe as studson but a girl is the best thing EVER I am so glad I found you!! I have been looking for more female crafters!!! (Sorry if I presumed) I just am excited!!
The youtube algorithm finally did something right by recommending me this video. Been a huge fan of Studson (and North of the Border) for a while now, so I'm ecstatic to find someone else to watch. Come for the crafts, stay for the puns!
@@CrossingCrafts You deserve the praise! I've only seen this and your Naydra video so far. But you do amazing work. Can't wait to see more and, hopefully, watch your channel grow!
@@CrossingCrafts I went from Notb to studson to you in less than a month. many model makers don't talk, and that is what is my little adhd brain wants. as an aside, i just bought that same mat for my scrapbooking area.
I totally know how you feel LMAO! I’ve seen some of the most amazing crafts ever, far better than anything I could ever do, but if my brain isn’t snapped from section to section with a few memes in between then I can’t get through it. NotB and Studson were my main inspirations behind creating the channel, I felt this niche could use another creator. I’m so glad you’ve been enjoying!!
One thing I would love to see you make is The Hyrule castle , not like the entire landscape - but just the castle , I think it would turn out to be a masterpiece!!! ✨
I would absolutely LOVE to do that one day!! Once Tears of the Kingdom comes out, I’d love to see how different the castle is from BOTW, from there I’ll definitely consider which version I might make. I’m so glad you enjoyed!
I am absolutely flattered, I’m working on another Zelda video right now that’s very November-themed, so get hyped!! Happy (early) Thanksgiving, Bladesinger!
Wow, amazing job! I can imagine those tiny fences were pretty tedious. Love the addition of Rushrooms at the end. The Fountain IS a bit big, but I kinda like it that way. it looks more like a town centerpiece. Would love to see this finished. I'm subscribing for that reason.
We can all just agree that in my Tarrey Town, the people are just a tad more religiously intense. Lmaoo! And thank you for noticing the rushrooms, there aren't actually any items on the cliffside of Tarrey Town (minus a Korok Seed on the bridge into it, but I digress) but it just felt so empty I felt it needed one or two little mushrooms!
Honestly even though the Unity Bell tower is bigger than it's "supposed" to be, it FEELS right, on the miniature scale; it draws your eye in and lets you add more detail to it and really accentuates that it's the focal point of the town. I'm not sure if it would have felt right if it was smaller, so definitely a happy accident
I really enjoyed this video!! It was perfect to watch with a snack, very cozy and funny. Love how it all came out too, your effort really paid off. Inspired me to do a little crafting too! Would love to see a detail up video someday when you're ready, I'm sure it will look great too. Hyped for spooky crafts~
I just stumbled across this and this is really really cool! I do actually have an answer for why someone might want a window that opens to show a structural column! It allows you to open the window and get a minor breeze (which is possibly amplified by the "tunnel" effect of the facade of the house and the column), without sacrificing privacy. An open window with strong airflow, that doesn't sacrifice privacy? Heck yes!
The amount of detail is incredible!! I love how you did the bark for the trees, and am AMAZED at how meticulously you crafted the fences. Seeing little bits of leaves and things blowing across the model during the glamor shots was just precious. Incredible work. We appreciate the sacrifice of your sanity
Beautiful build! I love the tree-reference-nerdiness. I have spent so many hours digging and searching for something noone else will ever notice, so I really get it.
I’m so glad you enjoyed! Part of my excitement for tears of the kingdom absolutely revolves around all the new flora and fauna we’re gonna get to see, I’m seriously scared at how obsessed I will become
i was shocked when i looked at your sub count and i saw it's under a million. how tf are you not blowing up? i also just thought about studson when in like 5 seconds into your video. you're fantastic, don't stop. the only thing holding you back is time, you have to overcome it. you will and you will be big, i promise.
the number of stir sticks definitely corresponds to the number of wood bundles hudson asks for (also the Na bit really caught me off guard and made me laugh!)
When I tell you I GASPED at the final reveal with all the beauty shots! ❤ You did such a wonderful job. I know that I can get so burnt out just crafting together pre-designed landscape minis (kits sold online) so to see you build this massive area from scratch, video + editing, voice over work, and everything else is super impressive. You really did such a great job! ❤️ I’m so glad the Algorithm Gods brought me here so I can binge watch more of your stuff. Keep up the great work! 🥰
Yo! You gave me anxiety when you told us that the prayer fountain was too big! My OCD....THEN THE REVEAL! It looks awesome! And, I couldn't tell that the scale was wrong. Also, a RUSHROOM on the side of the base was awesome!
Respectfully, I will be binging all of your videos and you CANNOT stop me. I absolutely adored this video; you are incredibly talented and hilarious! I want to thank you for all the effort you put into your craft, editing and everything you do behind the scenes to gift us with this masterpiece. I've wanted to try doing some crafts myself, but for now, I shall live vicariously through you 10/10 chef's kiss I've never subbed so fast :^)
Here from reddit. I'm really impressed, the amount of effort you put into this was absurd and it paid off. It looks fantastic. The humor and jokes kept me entertained the entire time, it made it fun. I like craft channels so I'll be sticking around :)
There's something very calming and warm and soft about your voice that I don't see in many crafting youtubers. I almost fell asleep watching this a few times!
Ahhh thank you so much! In my next video I’ll have to scream randomly at some point just for you. (Just kidding, but thank you for watching!) also love your name, huge game grumps fan!
@@CrossingCrafts I fear I may know where this is going.... Hope you're having as much fun as these are to watch, I've been binging through a load of them. Seems only a matter of time before your channel takes off 🚀
These look really good, I commend your patience because if I had to build one of these I might just get irritated by how tiny these are and just smash them on the wall.
This video was SO funny--almost spilled my full cup of coffee laughing at some of your jokes! I absolutely love how you took us through this journey. Amazing work !!! The trick with the sponges was very clever. It might be fun to get some model foliage stuff to hone in that extra detail. Keep up the great work and good luck with future crafts and videos !!!!
Thank you so much!! I hope that coffee didn’t die a senseless death, Lmaoo, and I totally agree! Model foliage, as well as model trees, are definitely something I’m interested in, I have soooo many more ideas that could use them so I will absolutely be testing out a bunch of different ones in the future!
When I came across the thumbnail, I thought this was a studson vid at first!! My goodness you are so talented, I can’t wait to see your future builds and I’m off to binge everything
stumbled upon this in the last 12 hours leading up to ToTK (because the hype is unreal) and boy am i happy i did. Got the same energy as North of the Border whilst perfectly recreating small versions of game things. I will definitely be sticking around.
I’m so glad you enjoyed! NotB and Studson are big inspirations for me so I am extremely flattered, I’ll be obsessing over TotK for a while and, in a few hours when I get my hands on it, I’ll be taking notes on every possible craft I can do. Thanks for sticking around you unshakable cookie!
I LOVE your vibe, your sense of humor is fun and your voice reminds me of Daria in the BEST way. (If u have not seen Daria, it's a classic animation from the 90's!)
YT recommended this video to me after I've been watching North of the Border for a while now and Studson the same. I fell into a sort of happy daze while bingewatching every single one of your videos, all the work you put in seriously is amazing, the projects are stunning, and your sense of humor always seems to put a smile on my face. Keep doing everything your doing already, it's perfect.
Wow, I have to say the final build is really stunning. The attention to detail makes the whole thing really look like it jumped out of the game. Amazing work - and a great video as well.
WOW!! I was just thinking about how you haven't uploaded in a while and holy crap! This was SO worth the wait! Do you ever plan on tackling other Hyrule Tourist DestinationsTM? (also, I am SO excited for spooky crafts)
I would absolutely love to do more Hyrule Tourist Destinations TM, I might go insane if I ever attempted Zora's Domain but Rito Village is the next one I have my eye on. It is the least complicated (yet still stunning) out of all the places I've considered. One day I may attempt Zora's Domain, but Gerudo Village, Hateno, Kakariko and Lurelin don't really work as crafts in my mind because of how spread out they are. I liked the idea of Tarrey Town because it was limited to a neat circle of land lmaoo
I was actually thinking around the time you mixed up the gap filler for the outer rocks on the base that the style reminded me of Studson, and after perusing the comments and seeing the rest of the video I can definitely see the inspiration from NotB as well. Great stuff. Overall it turned out really well, the sponges for the trees was a choice I was unfamiliar with, but it works! I'd be down for seeing a follow-up getting all the rest of it done, maybe some resin and/or silicone caulk for the fountain/water or something.
Every time I miss my Switch and BotW too much I watch this, a few of North of the Borders videos, and I'm all set for another few weeks. Excellent work.
This is amazing! I love that the way you explain everything is such that I feel like I could make something like this if I go slow and do what you do. (I tend to get a little over-zealous with new things, lol). I think I'll just start with a deck, one house, and maybe a tree, though. I've never done anything like this. My friends paint minis for DnD, but none of them do environments, and its something I'd like to get started on learning. Awesome video!
Do it!!! There's another awesome RU-vidr who made a larger version of one of the Tarrey Town houses, I'm not sure precisely how big DnD elements are but I assume it is a middle between my size Tarrey Town houses and this video here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gl6CiwmsyEc.html If/when you make it, you must show me!
this is the first video I watched of you and it brought me so much joy. thank you for sharing your awesome work. now I'm way too excited to play tears of a kingdom
I really love all your videos!! Seeing you upload really brightens my day. The amount of care and detail you put into each piece is so inspiring! I love the choice of making actual clickable buttons! Very satisfying! I am waiting patiently for the next one ^^
This looks so cute!!! Seeing the houses and trees come to fruition was so cool to watch, and the creativity put into every little detail is amazing. You really deserve more attention!
This is amazing. I'm thinking of trying to build a dollhouse for my daughter using this design, and while this video won't help me do that, I was still mesmerized by this.
Omg, well firstly I’m glad you like it, but secondly I actually have the perfect video for you. By some miracle, while I was working on this project, I found a super talented crafted who made a much bigger version of a tarrey town house: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gl6CiwmsyEc.html I don’t think they crafted the inside, but I think it’s big enough you could easily modify it to be a dollhouse. Hope this helped!
ahhh i love this video!!! so calming and funny, the detail and care you put into the town is so evident. and the editing is adorable! i love the other game references and especially enjoyed the stardew valley inspired auction (even if you did sound like you were held at gunpoint lmfao). i’ve been really into crafting videos lately and yours is one of the first craft channels im subscribing to. thank you so much for sharing!
I can’t believe I just now found your channel! I always thought sculpture crafts deserved love than they get. Very underrated, here’s a new subscriber. ❤
I'm so glad you enjoyed! He inspired me to start this channel in the first place so now you have another channel to watch as well as a new Studson-fan friend!
the effort and care you have in each video is so shocking and lovely! gonna keep rewatching these videos for your lil bits, humor, art, and the crafts!!
Y- You made so much at the end off screen! I want to see the entrance, the walkways, the goddess statue, the rushrooms... However it does look AMAZING though
Tarrey Town was just Modular housing. All of the pieces of the houses were basically mass-produced and just slapped together. Also, I think the pieces under the house were supposed to be shims to lift the houses up off of the deck. Possibly for drainage purposes…?
I just came across your channel, really loving your vibes! You got a couple great laughs out of me too, I can't wait to watch more of your vids!! Absolutely gorgeous model, thank you for sharing 🥰🥰
