Tu fais parti des mecs comme moi, qu’on gagne qu’on perde qu’on pilote bien ou qu’on fasse des erreurs de pilotage on assume et on n’a pas peur de montrer nos erreurs. Tu auras toujours des mecs qui vont te dire qu’ils vont plus vite ou qu’ils conduisent mieux etc mais ta mentalité d’assumer ton erreur (qui m’est déjà arrivée) de mordre un peu l’herbe est de loin la mentalité d’un vrai pilote. Tu conduis très bien ta caisse est vraiment pas mal du tout. Continue comme ça et vu les commentaires tu vas bien et ta caisse est réparée 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼💪🏼💪🏼 force a toi
That's The Ring, mate. Every minor mistake may cause major damages. You know, I made this experience in 2016 as well. Good thing is that you did not get hurt. And that there are definitely worse places on The Ring to crash. Hope your insurance company covered the whole damage?! Looking forward to seeing you in 2018 with a completely repaired car for new records. ;-))
Sorry mate, but I am not prepared to pay for your risky hobbies. It is OK that you do that, but it would be very unfair if I need to pay for that (indirectly).
This is not a normal insurance he's got. To have insurance on the ring you need to have an expensive racing insurance(Because normal insurance doesn't cover the damage done on racetracks/The ring). So you don't pay for him except when you also have a racing insurance ;)
Actually it depends on if it's Touristenfahrten oder a Trackday. For Touristenfahrten the Nordschleife is handled as a public road and as such different Laws are in effect (Such as Speed Limits and Overtaking rules). So I doubt this is the case in the video but in general normal insurance would cover the crash if you're German and it's a Touristenfahrt.

You know what I thought to myself at 1:30 when you went into that corner at nearly 200kmh? That I take that same corner on Gran Turismo & NFS Shift 2 with LESS speed. I thought thats where you were gonna lose it. Amazing driving man. Everybody makes mistakes. You had great control of the car.
What was the mistake? I had a big accident (as a co driver), with 140 km/h, on a public road. I the backside slipped away and we turned 4-5 times around. The car was at the front and the end so centimeters shorter.

Kann es sein das du nach dem Porsche geschaut hast der dir im Nacken hing? Weil du fährst nicht ohne Grund einfach ins Gras... Ansonsten sah es Super aus. Kopf hoch^^
Lexo G stimmt. Sieht sehr nach abgelenkt aus. Was da Zehntelsekunden ausmachen. Wirklich schade weil bis dahin sah die Fahrt klasse aus. Und klingt vor allem genial. Alles Gute!
Chris tian 1983 ja kann auch passen. Er is ja eh schon sehr weit links nach der seichten Kurve. Grundlos wie ich finde. Aber was solls. Passiert ist passiert... geht alles weiter
danke :) bis du damit zufrieden gewesen oder wie waren sie bei nässe ? hab auch nen cupra aber ohne Performance paket und daher bist jetzt normale reifen.wie findest du verbessert sich die traktion an den Vorderrädern, gefühlt 10% mehr grip oder mehr oder weniger ? Danke :)

I can only compare Direzza to Yokohama AD08R and Michelin PSC2, for me and for the grip Direzza > PSC2 > AD08R Direzza have the best grip but are expensive, noisy, they need to be warm up and they need negative camber. They are less easy to handle than the 2 below (personal opinion). PSC2 have a good grip and I liked their feeling but the border of the tires are a bit too soft for hot hatch so you can kill them very fast (but they are quiet and confortable) AD08R are a good compromise, less grip but they are lasting a lot, their borders are hard (but you loose confort) and they are not noisy
nein, du fährst 100% auf eigene gefahr und kosten! deshalb...gut überlegen ob man sich das antun will. aber franzosen können eh nicht gescheit auto fahren...da nützt keine versicherung! :-)
Stimmt nicht! Man muss das Kleingedruckte in seiner Versicherung lesen. Dort wird angegeben, ob das Fahrzeug bei solchen Events versichert ist, oder nicht.
Das wäre das einzige was mich auch davon abhält mal ein oder zwei runden zu drehen. Mir juckt es in den Fingern je öfter ich solche onboard videos von der nordschleife sehe xD

Ahh good to see you’re okay and hopefully was only minor body panel damage? What even happened here though like doesn’t look like you understeered/oversteered/locked up your wheels or anything did your mind just drift off focusing on the turn and accidentally drove onto grass or something? Some great driving too man :p very clean line through all the corners
Really enjoyed watching that (apart from crash of course). Quick driver , quick car and minor mistake punished. Hope you get it repaired and get back on the track soon.
Very unfortunate, just slightly over the curb but that's all it takes. Great driving skills overall and the Cupra is a great car. Hope you make a comeback soon!
Oh mince mec... Vraiment désolé pour ta Cupra mais ravi de savoir que tu vas bien =). Le Nurburgring c'est vraiment un circuit compliqué qui ne laisse pas de place à la moindre erreur. Au plaisir de te revoir derrière un volant.

very technical driving! don't you feel more in control holding the wheel tightly and slightly pressing it forward? Wouldn't have changed much in the given situation, but made me nervous towards the end :D
Respekt für die Fahrleistung und das faire Fahren :) ich hätte den Schaden am Seitenteil HR als Trophäe vielleicht "konservieren" lassen, war bestimmt ein großer Schock in dem Moment.

Sorry to sound like a noob on here, but what is the crunch noise whenever you change gears when shifting up with the gear paddles? Your driving was a joy to watch, very impressive. Hope you were ok and your car is fixable to the way it was.
why dont stayed on the gas and hold it in the drift / steer with the e brake ? i know this wont work if u too fast for this corner, but maybe a try worth ...only if its the fwd model of course
