It had to happen at some point...
Two years pushing this great machine week in week out, it finally met the ground on a high speed too low circuit with reversals... I swear I saw that bush jump up and grab the wing!!

Best R/C pilot, plane and demonstration this 66 year old pilot has ever witnessed. FANTASTIC!!! That was one tough airplane to take those high g maneuvers! Wish the crash was on film. With your skill I cannot imagine you crashing!?

That 180° snap at 0:16 was so fast I almost missed it. I replayed it at 25% speed to be sure of what I thought I saw. Amazing talent!

I haven't flown in decades but prefab? Dang I had to cut everything out of balsawood and it could take hundreds of hours to build. Of course when you crashed it was time for a very serious nervous breakdown and why most folks wouldn't fly them at first (Several months.) because they couldn't handle it if they were to crash after spending so many hours building them.

I think that’s my favorite flight of this year!!!, was just great a combination of maneuvers, loved the super low inverted flight , it’s a shame she is no longer but, now there is room for the bad black one 😃👍🏻, your can say you defiantly got your worth out of it, must have 200-300 flights? And there Hard flights 😜Time to make new and more memories 👌🏻👍🏻 -the hodge

There isn’t one aeromodeller who hasn’t crashed plenty of planes/helis/gliders etc over the years. It’s what keeps the hobby shops in business

Which setup will you be using in your new one Martin, Powerbox Mercury and MKS HBL380 ?

Basically same setup again, 777+ on all surfaces with the 380 on rudder, 737 on throttle, GP123 and Mercury with SparkSwitch Pro

Real shame to see a great model end up this way. Have been flying high (G) R/C arobatice for over 20 years. At major uk shows and Flying R/C for 40 years. GREAT flying. But you don't get a higher score for flying that low. But great flying. Till then keep it higher. That way you have time to sort it out and take that great model home for the next session. All the best guy's.
