I think slightly worse, some features are so much better in FIFA 22 but there is way more simple and small things that aren't there which easily can be added and would add a lot to FIFA now

AND... you can copy and transfer your team from the manager mode to the available teams for quickmatches and own cups, so that you can enjoy your overpowered team outside the manager mode too. I'm missing this feature the most in newer parts.
Same here. All started with Fifa 06 as a 9 year old but in the last 16 years out of all the Fifas I’ve owned, Fifa 07 has to be my favourite due to the amount of hours I put into it. There was something very cool and cinematic about this Fifa too.
they should just do a remastered fifa. That way we have more players as the seasons pass in manager mode and not just random ai generated players and we could also play with our vintage favorites.
I remember playing fifa 10 and trying to sign Sergio Ramos and Eden Hazard , controls were square to open email and X to delete , got the offer accepted and pressed X and I never got hazard and Ramos , still makes me cry I was used to playing fifa 15 by the time I got fifa 10 and oh 6 year old me was angry
07 was such a huge improvement from 06 which was so bad(PES was so much better) but 07 really improved so much, and 08 was also really good, the be a pro mode was so fun to coop. shame fifa lost all of it's magic after FUT came
one way or another, the best team creation engine is still the Creation Centre from FIFA 13 through 15. you could make pretty much every team on those. i used to have a lot of fun with it, too bad Ignite ruined everything. for an in-game creator, though, this is still serviceable, despite lacking the features from PES, such as putting the badges and sponsor brands on it.

I was 9 years old, more or less when I started playing Fifa 07, but I hadn't a PC at the time, only playing on a friend's computer... lol Great memories, even if my friend was a completely dick. Thank you for bringing it back!

Career mode is good on 23 but it still needs those old kit sponsorships for income, stadium capacity increase options and perks in player contracts like the old versions had
And it still needs: - simpler menus, - a normal link between your squad hub, transfer hub and your list of scouted players, - a NORMAL overview of the amount of talent a player has (so DON'T block the 'potential to be special' from view simply because a player is loaned, unhappy, talked about et cetera and DO give us back those predicted growth charts from the ancient FIFAs). All in all it is an improvement versus previous Fifas, but still needs a tester with common sense to actually play it and be taken seriously by the devs.
i said this was just doing the bare minimum when adding create club was added again as i played fifa 07 and remember how you could actually create the players as well
i still have a mint ps2 disc of fifa 07, but i have lost my ps2 a decade ago. i bought a 2nd fifa 07 disc just in case my first one fails due to usage. i also did a career mode of juve in serie b, it was easy, although i had a defender who was slow as hell, like mertresaker, igor tudor, also had a young georgio chielini, only with an 85 potential. sidenote, metresaker had a potential of 98 in fifa 07.
