Yeah I’m Diamond 2 currently and I struggle with simple ceiling shots. Of course, mechanics aren’t everything, but infinity’s are impressive. He’s got champ level mechanics at the least
@@Tuxum as a champ I would say he does have the mechanics but as said not much to see here other then that. Most likely he double commits and does bad stuff in game and you have remember that Ur not gonna have inf boost in ranked

The only man I fear in this video is the one who keeps double flip resetting, although maybe he may not be the smartest player which is why he’s still in plat, but still… double flip resets do not come that naturally to me.
What people fail to realize is that saying you’re a “plat with amazing mechanics/can freestyle” is just saying your game sense is terrible. Like if you really do have the mechanics you claim, the only way you could be stuck in plat is if you’re especially bad at every other part of the game to balance it out
Yeah the freestyle things is not all. You have to defense, shoot, rotate, be fast and so many things. Its not just mechanics. Actually I am diamond and I can't do air dribble. I am learning it but in game I actually play. Not just trying to hit insane shots
Old head here: Glad these lads are finding enjoyment with learning these mechanics. Reminds me of playing low ranks in Halo (2) and laughing at how often they’d throw sticky grenades in a gun fight. Nonsense game sense situational awareness but hey, they’d sometimes manage to get a kill on the Smurfs (referred to as “sand-bagging” in ranked MM back then). We all love hitting stickies and if they had more patience with learning there’s a time and place, they’d certainly rank higher. Accuracy will only get so great on its own but keep on sticking and learning your own way, champs/plats.
I have never ever ever ever ever seen a platinum do a flip reset or anything close. They usually even have a hard time hitting the ball once off the wall up that high. These videos really confuse me and I’m a diamond 1 right now and have been for like six months. Literally never see stuff like this lol
It's so funny when you are in casual and you get a dude saying hey can i freestyle you let him do it he can't even take it if the wall. So embarrassing lol
I actually enjoy doing that in Casuals. I do NOT have the mechanics to freestyle, but when someone asks for a "freestyle battle" (and I use that term lightly) it forces me out of my comfort zone and I go for dumb things and it has helped my mechanics improve. Best Casual I ever had was against an actual freestyler who proceeded to hit two triple flip resets, one quadruple flip reset, and several other freestyle variations. That was a fun game! I saved the replay.
@@michaelblair7141 same here, i got to champ with the only mechanic being hitting the ball and every time that happens my 'freestyle' is just missing an air dribble then getting clipped.
Hi I'm infinity, I would like to point out that nerves are a huge part of how well you perform in these video recordings. I'm sure everyone I played with is actually better than what they did in the video. Also right after my horrendous breezi attempt, we both went for difficult stuff and missed like 10 shots each. That bit was edited out so it seemed like I just immediately went again. Anyways thanks for having me

Thx for having me *Edit: I just wanna point out that I did the same shot twice in horse because I wanted to see if he could do it after I told him to bounce off his corner (I told him and serpent to try to go off the corner of their car). I could have just done the same shot and won. I decided not to do the shot after the second time because it woulda been rude -_-. I'm just sayin this bc ppl be like, "Haha, the Weeva kid deserved to lose, he did a mechanic that he knew Infinity couldn't do, karma!" And it doesn't help that this point is evasive to the entire meaning of the game Horse. also I did 1 ceiling pogo when serpent was still in and one when he was out, I didn't spam it on the same 2 ppl, only after serpent was gone did I do it again (which i know still doesn't make it much better but c'mon). I'll also point out, I was debating doing it again, which you could infer by wathcin, bc he didn't do it. I just decided to do it 1 more time* (another edit: After the ceiling pog musty, we both went for difficult shots which is why it seems like infinity went twice at the end)

Should of made them have a 3v3 game after. I can only imagine how bad u have to be if u can hit a flip reset and still be in plat lmao the double commits and boost management would be hilarious
I am thinking that they spend their entire time practicing these mechanics but not actually playing the "game". They still seem to be enjoying it so good for them, I guess.
Being able to score a flip reset does not mean you have good mechanics and bad rotations. It is entirely possible that this player might be mechanically bad on the ground or even in the air or might not be a good shooter. In addition, flip resets do not take that much time to learn especially if you watch freestylers a lot or just naturally have an affinity for hitting them. In any case, when a plat says they can hit a flip reset, it just means that they spent some time trying to learn something that looked cool and that they enjoy doing.
@@altanaed7761 being able to score a flip reset musty and still be a plat exactly means u have good mechanics and bad rotations. Absolutely he's bad at everything else considering all u need to know is how to clear a ball and rotate and ur out of plat
I’m a champ and those last three were wayyy more capable than I am with freestyles, it’s insane how even tho they have good car control like that our rank differences are huge.
I feel that like 2 of the plats here just wanted to be on a video, they couldn't even air dribble. Now, I'm plat and can't air dribble, but I'm getting so close but they just jumped away from the ball. Infinity was an actual freestyler, huge potential.
@eraZku CS:GO im c1 and i am also quite bad at freestyling. im so inconsistant and cant ever hit actually impressive shots, only air dribbles, ceiling shots, double taps and flip resets
The fact that im a champ and i still cant figure how to make a flip reset/musty and They, in plat, can do it, truly amaze me ! They're cracked for plats !
As a champ freestyler I can actually say that I can freestyle When plats say they can flip reset it actually means they hit one once in training and it bounced 5 times and it took them 50 tries I used to be one but ranked up to champ because my mechanics were actually used to win games instead of look fancy But now I just try to have fun and hit clips
Your either a freestyler or you play ranked you can’t be a ‘champ freestyler’ or a ‘plat freestyler’ you are a freestyler or a champ lmao free styling in ranked is throwing the game so how can it be related to your rank? You can be a freestyler and also be champ but if you freestyle in ranked you are what’s wrong with the game
I don’t freestyle in ranked I’m not dumb but a well placed air dribble in ranked is totally fine in my opinion or just a simple flip reset to get past someone or if you have no boost There’s a line that I don’t go over to give the team a free goal
2's and 3's ranks are deceptive. You don't actually need to do anything mechanical or rotational. You just need some lucky hits and some demos. Unlike 1's where every mistake is a goal for your opponent.

In the horse round, were they teaming up on infinity? Yes, but infinity was on blue while the other two were on orange so………. They’re playing the game normally

These plats are so bad it hurts me how they can see "i deserve higher than plat" when double flip resets don't prove that you are way better than other plats or even diamonds. Hell im a gc 1 and i can hit triple resets but im not surprised when i do them because they are not hard. Platinums are the most cocky rank ever.
That one dude is crazy. The most c advanced mechanic i knew at plat was a ceiling shot, couldnt double tap till i was diamond and didnt flip reset till i hit Champ 1, double flip reset at gc3-ssl and i still consider myself a "mechanical" playwr

this video is a motivation for me as a platinum(ngl kweeva infinity and maybe freestyla was actually a cool "freestyler" unlike other 4 who were normal plats)
As a plat, i can't do these, i'm trying (best shots were in training : Pogo, Flip reset, Pinch) but i don't really know how these guys can Flip Reset, Musty Flick ect multiple times, that's crazy. I have a friend who can freestyle as a Gold, he can do celling musty and that's all, i guess lol. I just don't know how you guys do but i really want to do like you. You are the best.
I love how the 3rd guy out said that he can really freestyle when he's probably as good as my freestyling cus I don't' see the point in freestyling in diamond/plat cus it ain't gonna help till like late champ so I only practise air dribbles, ground play, passing, trust in teamm8's and speed/quick thinking
freestyling never really is good. in later ranks they go for air dribbles and ceiling shots, not to look flashy but to score. in my rank(c3) i only go for flashy stuff when i get a good setup, which is like every 3 games so its not important, just work on your game sense and important mechanics
My peak moment was yesterday Playing 1’s. And everyone I played was air dribbling and speed flipping, and this is in gold 3 Bc I’m ass and currently sitting in plat 2 for 2’s. But I was making some nutty saves all day. Made myself proud
I've been diamond for 5 seasons and the only thing i can reliably do is ground dribble. I would think these plats were smurfs if i saw them in my games. :P
Man, I can't stand when people say, "I'm better than everyone in my rank." Then why would you be in your rank? Oh right bad luck, bad teammates, bad connection, I forgot
