My idea for a new bastion would be to make a symmetrical one. This would be unique since all bastions have a front and back side, mine would have like a central tower with a courtyard or ruins around it. The tower could have the gold blocks at the bottom and a triple chest in the top. There could be lava, hoglins, single chests, single goldblocks etc in the courtyards around the tower.

OBJECTION! In my opinion, bastions are not the most important part of speedrunning, as they are not necessary to beat the game. Sure, they are quicker than monument or classic strats, but I would argue that the nether fortress and the stronghold are more important, as they are absolutely necessary for a run. Just my opinion.
