In total Zwag gained 2089 Gold from the Ult and pentakill combined!

I confirm this malphite ult was the JUICEST shit I've ever seen.

First strike's gold acquisition in NOT based on the amount of damage the rune deals. It works like this: at the end of the first strike duration, 10 of the total damage you dealt is gained as gold, and separately the rune deals extra true damage to any survivor. You don't need your victims to survive to make full use of the extra gold 😉
