I have arachnophobia and normally I hate seeing pictures and videos of spiders, but cosmos are just too adorable for me, granted I wouldn’t want to see one irl I’m fine with seeing them in a video
RIP to the poor jumping spider I saw yesterday that was trying to hunt a cellar spider who had the high ground. I tried to save it, but it was too stubborn.
Hey syn, If you have a gigantiraptor. You can use the feathers to breed for the higher stat, not sure if they are on this map, I'm still on the centre, and that map creeps me out sometimes.
The surface drops that spawn before you load the surface won't have the color light above them. You either have to find them without it, or wait until they deadpan so the following drops get lit up.
When you go to the surface, the drops that are already spawned don’t produce a beam. You have to wait till the next drops spawn in to see the beams. That’s why it takes a minute to find any
So in my case I am like severally arachnophobic where I can’t even look at pictures of spiders but for some reason the cosmo don’t register in my head as actual spiders but the areoneo or a different case 🤮
When you initially load in the surface drops will be in the ground with no beam . After those disappear new ones start spawning coming down with the beam
i mutated a crazy cosmo to level 562, thats 25 stacks in every stat besides food, but after all that my webs are bugged and stuck at 75/75 no matter how much i level up it reall y really sucks anyone know what could be the problem ?
So the drops take like a minute or two after ur in to like start showing up. It’s super stupid almost as if it trying to see if ur character is outside before it starts teasing you. -.- Point is give it a sec syntac and you’ll see them. 😂Btw with some of the drops they're kind of broken so if you want to access them have like build on top of drops turned on, put like any type of foundation like where the drop will come down and u should be able to access it (I personally put down either stone or mainly metal foundations so nothing breaks it and it does work), I only suggest this as some drops r bugged and r actually underground and shows as if it above ground when it's not so give it a try Syntac and u should be able to access them. Also the lighting bug is normal been had that one since ase so it kind of sucks so be aware of that bug and be careful with it. :) Great vid btw! XD
i have arachnophobia but im not afraid of jumping spiders they are just cute also the outlaw hate looks best on those little guys in my personal opinion
I’m arachnophobic but the ark spiders don’t really scare me, cosmo is cute, the jumping spider from Cyrus is cute, and aranoes just aren’t that scary to me
ASE the time just moved slow. ASA you can stay out later. At 10/90 you can go out at 1630 and the fire comes in around 11. Reapers stop coming up at 0530. you can run around and mine elemental ore and tame a Faso at that time

Hey, awesome idea with the color regions and the displays. That's amazing, I may or may not start using that going forward. You do get XP from the Kill All by default, I know you said you didn't enable it but I've had some settings change after a mod update so it's worth checking The display pad lighting changes depending on which gender you have displayed, male is blue lights, female is pink
Hiya Syntac! As far as the time day night cycle goes - its not so straightforward. When 545am rolls around thats when no reapers spawn. As far as the sun goes - just depends based on the cycle. Thanks as always for the content!
I've tamed two low level Cosmo's on single player and can't find any more. I might have to download the Dino scanner mod because I've spent two days running around looking for them.
Funny thing as someone that has arachnophobia, the cosmo and the other spider that's super fluffy (forgot the name, sorry) have actually helped me a lot. Granted I still just cannot cope in irl, but when it comes to Ark at least i'm coping better.
I wonder how long it took to click after asking if any arachnophobes have managed to watch before realizing if they haven't than they can't answer that question. Also i'd imagine they have given Cosmo-Poli-Tan is hidden most of the time. The more important question is have they played knowing that cossack could be dangling from a tree at face height right next to them.
