Water resevores passively fill up with water on Aberration as long as they're out in the open.

I believe reservoirs on Aberration just slowly collect water over time. The quantity you would need to reach it to the ground is probably more than what you would need to supply your base with the passive water generation.

You should put a for rent/sale sign on your old base lol

I’ve also been looking for a new base location, was actually considering somewhere near the waterfall like you had in the 100 days on ab. Currently I’m on the island where you went too in the last video near portal but it’s feeling rather small now I have spinos.

20:32 That's my base location. It's located at 50,50 and is pretty good as you have a charge node as well as a gas collector and a plant nearby. The only problem is that other than rock drakes or Yi Ling, not a lot of creatures can get there. But the blue zone and the spine is your next door neighbor.

"Make it go outside" from your Primal Fear series has been something my lady and I have said for a couple years now, we feel this is a perfect time to bring it back 😄

The earthquakes fill up water reservoirs if you need it in a pinch. I have mine slowly filling up that way to keep my crops happy.

The best spot in the green is right below you. Right behind the giant crystal is a hidden crack with lots of metal nodes. That's my base location. There's exits close to the ground. Right we're the Yi Ling attacked you. I have that entire plateau on official.

When you build your house along the cliff, hang it over and build down making a few lower levels, I never see anyone do that

The wood elevator doesn't work,, so You would have to use the metal elevator. The only thing I can say for now would be to use a zipline set up.

This series now hurts me.. because my console had a crash that makes the loading screen crash every time - now I can't play abb at all, i hope they fix the lag spots because thats hours wasted 😭 - oh and also the center did the same while I was on the lava island, not been able to play for over a month now

Great choice of a location! You'll need to caravan out for pearls, but you have the other basics covered and even early metal on the lower ramparts. Both Rock Drake and Yi Ling friendly. Will you be taming the new raptor-not-a-flyer soon? Hope the redzone waterfall is still radiation free, it could be a Steampunk fortress of solitude and reaper taming late game. If you haven't see the Reapers, they are insane up close. Doubly so when under charge light. (Would also be an evil place to put a community build for Evo, Axeman and Jimbob would be quaking in their boots that whole time.) Looking forward to how much of a beasty Cosmo you breed up. I found all my males in the Bluezone, so I don't know if Wildcard split the spawns between Green and Blue for Female and Male. Maybe time for some Syn-science? Don't punch a Cosmo, though. They make a really really cute and sad sound. But something has to be done about the reject babies and a cryofridge can only hold so much.

Am I the only one who misses the sense of adventure from moving base locations without cryopods a bit? Just you and all your tames and loot versus the world. It had such an epic feel to it.

Sling... is a name for young spiders if you want a universal name for the little girl...But in Japanese it is Suringu, very pretty name.

You don't need a water source anymore. Just place down a couple metal or wood water tanks at your base. de render them and they will be full. This is true on any ASA map.

There’s a big metal spawn just under that location too. Great spot.

I’m building a tree house inside that tree right next to you. A drop also spawns inside there. But if you drop down a little further than you did when checking for closer water there’s like 10 metal nodes down there

Syntac you forgetting you can use the charging station and you able to store in there your resources and Dino’s then collect them at the station by your new base

The water tanks will fill up on their own. Nooblets done a video on it about 4 months ago and it still works.

Quick water tip: Place a couple water tanks (or even the big water thing from Scorched). They passively produce water when in render and not used, but also if you go out of render they pretty much will fill up within a few minutes.

While I love the wifi approach to power and water in ASA, they need to add a “node” which basically acts as a pipe segment, essentially something a bit cheaper and not huge like a water tank that we can use to extend the range from a water source to our base. I don’t like the visuals of multiple large water tanks making a super obvious trail back to your base

The geeenhouse glass fix mod for ASA is nice!

In ASE on Ab did the water tanks not fill up passivly with time? Sure that was the case in ASE Valguero Ab at least. Not sure if they've changed that for ASA

If this is the spot from ASE I’m thinking of, there was water a little past where the drop spawns by your base area. It was in this rock tunnel/enclosure, like where the drop was, and it was a small stream.

If I remember right over there where that purple drop by the new base was if my memory serves me right I feel there is a small creek in there

I always build my base there when I'm on Aberration. It's a good amount of metal and crystal around if u take the "walking route" up there.

I remember that location back than I played ase, I had build a Megalo breed station inside of the tree/branch thing behind the leaves, it was a relative big flate area

There is a mod that has seeds you can make of the mushrooms! I know that Automated Ark has a Gardening Station that you can create the seeds with 10 mushrooms to 1 seed. The Gardening station also has a cheeky cheat, but I imagine it can be turned off? Or just destroy it afterward. The Seed Farm Mod may have Mushroom seeds, but I'm not too sure.

Glad they fixed the PSZ/instant tame bug, and I like that using Z seeds just works *better* than chitin.

Hey Syntac loved the greenhouse build, also just wanted to let u know that there’s a little enclose area under you in the rock/mountain ur on that also has a bunch of metal nodes the cords are 40.3 43.5

You can even expand the area a little with a cliff platform

you might find this a bit cheesy but if you hold e with a water jar or canteen inside the bobs tall tale tank or normal stone tank it fills it up all the way, very useful when living up high

Unless they fixed you can upload creatures and resources into the green transmitters and unload on one by your base

That persistent foliage may have roots in what type of mesh object was used by game devs. In this case where new base its build that mesh bit its not part of the whole map but an separate mesh object with own foliage surface that seems like do not react well with placed structures over it.

i set my server to restart at 3am morning to keep it running good, on a heavy modded server i have 3am and 3pm. everybody is aware it restarts at that time twice a day and work there recordings around that. might be worth it if your having issues. i also dont use nitrado that prob helps me way more lol

A idea. In the future make an amazing blimp station like you did the train station in scorched. That would be sick.

Cosmos are very fun to use with high melee, as their webs deal more damage as well. I’m working on mutating a bunch of cosmo to use as a ranged weapon, (potentially for Rockwell as well?)

There is a really good spot near one of the water caves it is the harder one and is probably the best base spot on abb.

I believe the reservoirs are a bit different on Abb since it doesnt rain here. Cant wait to see the new base. Its gonna look amazing!

I lived there on my aberration play through, it was a pain to get too because of how laggy ark was on the Xbox one

Syn!!! one idea for item transportation that's waaayy cheaper is ravagers and ziplines, you can build using pillars or however you'd want to do it and make a pathway to keep yourself off of the ground and to reach higher places like that, I used to do it in gen1 to keep myself safe on bog metal runs before I got a magmasaur!

Im sure its been said a million times by now so nobody get mad at me but when you breed the cosmos you need to get a green one and a pink one and name them Cosmo and Wanda from the Fairly odd parents.

I can’t remember what they are called but there is a foundation or support you can place on the floor (I put them in a triangle formation) and a few seconds later all the flowers disappear. It’s the same ground supports you can place walls or the tall walls on

Cosmo + parachute combo is stronger than glide suit. lets you keep so much more speed AND you can swing while parachuting

Syntac i have advice. When u feed the Cosmo run away about 15m. Spider tends to stay close to one spot if u do it this way. Rather then bouncing all over the place.

Easy way to get water in there.... make the bobs tale water tower, put a filled water jar into it, press e.... keep tapping e... boom full water tower....

Zipline and weight pumped ravager for the win on high elevations. Idk what ur planning for elevating water platforms tho...

About the water and hope it don't get fixed as I live on a map full of pillars and can't place tanks for water but if you put canteen in take and spam button to fill you only need one to fill the tank
