Hey dude, I really like your mercenary series, I am one of the old school veterans who helped team Overhype bug test and refine the game. Would you be so kind to share with me that picture you used as a front for this episode please? And thank you for all the entertaining videos, you do good work
Fun fact, there is actually a Battle Brothers book - it's called The Witch Hunter by Casey Hollingshead. The writing is just as good in the game, and it looks like they're going to make a series out of it.
I do agree that the writer for battle brothers is goated with the sauce. I googled them and it seems the person is Casey Hollingshead, and they seem to have written a novel set in the battle brothers universe, called the Witch Hunter. Theres also a battle brothers comic apparently.
Is it possible to hire things like Necromancers or non-humans? I feel it would fit with his ability to steal the essence of those he kills to lead a band of people like him, also cast out from society but with abnormal powers.
@@JohnSmith-bs9ym Destroy people with staff swinging skills. But also some spells at higher levels, mostly supportive or debuff spells but I've seen a chain lightning spell once on a wizard I got from the random start.
@@NotSimo It would be pretty cool to have some people like that in the mercenary company, maybe seeking to find redemption for past acts or right wrongs that they caused.
I love the mixture of cultures. Most cities in the game have names of germanic language hertiage and as german myself they make total or at least amusing sense ( for example Strauchdorf where you travelled from literally means 'village of brushes' ) and it's always amusing how english speakers try to pronounce them (probably as entertaining as my english accent). Therefore i loved when you explained Makan Muqadas for non arabic speaker like me. There can't be enough understanding of inherit meaning of names in different langues. Love it.
@@NotSimo that’s great, now you gave me a probiotic situation where I have to watch all of your videos to catch any Arabian puns or jabs:) still love your content man
I find it real creepy somehow that you use Music i use to lisen when i play DnD with my Friend. Gwent Soundtracks i lisend a lot. But then i hear the AoEIV Mongolian soundtrack and was like "No Way! I Lisen to that when i play my Stepprider DnD Charakter!" well any how. Have a nice day, Evening or Morning.
played this before and i was curious how much of a stat increase you get per kill or how it works because in theory you could max every stat which would be madness
hey simo, i don't know if you knew about this already but on the battle loot screen there is a button called "transfer all" that simply by clicking it you, as the name implies, transfer all the loot to your inventory there is no downside to taking everything, if you ever run out of inventory space you can just throw something out whenever you feel like. by leaving all those weapons and gear there you're missing out on quite a bit of money, i think each of those arabic shields was worth around 18 crowns if i'm not mistaken also, you should look up the average prices of luxury goods, luxury trading is a really good way to supplement your income, per example at the desert town you were in at the end of the video if i'm not mistaken those goods were selling pretty damn cheap, if you bought them en masse there you could sell them at another town for lots of profit, ideally i'd try to sell them at a large town with plundered trade routes for max profit. per example: you buy 7 units of a certain good for 550 crowns and sell them at another town for 700, to buy them you'd be spending 3850 crowns in total but would be making 4900 by selling them, that's a profit of 1050 crowns that you can get just from trading. i highly recommend you doing it since you'll be travelling the whole world anyways as a mercenary, of course until you can sell them at another town you may be short on money or inventory space but overall i say it's more than worth it. for me a good way of knowing whether the prices are good or not is i memorize the average price of a certain item and always carry it around (in my case i did it with the arabic shield) if it sells for above that then that means that town has high inflation and would be a good place to maybe sell your items, and if it's below that then it may be worth buying stuff there
I get this is legends mod and Simo is only really levelling one character, but damn i wish i could make such an amazinh 2h frontline BF brother by dah 76.
wouldn’t playing scaling beggar on legendary difficulty with legends be utterly broken the second you kill your first enemy because of all the op perks they have
I'm greatful to have found your channel and because of that you helped introduce me to battle brothers I played it for the first time today and currently my mercenry group HolyOrder has lost 2 brothers in arms and I'm tetering near zero coins hopefully things start looking up.
nice, love to see the journey of Matthias continued. but do be careful when u using 2 handed sword like zweihander or some sort coz once u encounter a stronger enemy than u, they gonna make a piecemeal out of u. i played a similar mode like this, day 615 now, my main stats was lvl 17, 89 melee skill, 70 ranged skill, 67 melee defense, 56 ranged defense, 156 hp, using sipar shield and noble sword as a weapon, now on a second crisis (the undead one). i could've gone for estoc or rapier but due to lacking duelist I scrap the idea. though my armor was fall short on you. if u already got good company, try headed north, there the bounty paids handsomely and the enemies are tougher. should hone yr boys skill if u wanted to simo. Just be careful with alps, they will suck yr life if you not careful at night.
No, in Bannerlord main folder, go into modules, then serve as a soldier, then settings.xml Freelancer doesn't work anymore, use Serve as a Soldier with the modification I mentioned
How do you have so many settlements? I know legends let’s you increase the amount to twenty seven, but you had like forty. Anyways if anyone knows how to do that let me know, thanks.
