wish someone like you was around when I was hunting for my first bike. I have learned the hard way. Be that as it may, landed on a honda 650 nighthawk from 82 that has been very responsive to its restoration and have a motorcycle mechanic willing to teach things that no one else would. It is like it was meant to happen in order to put me in contact with specific people. That is likely what happened with that teen. You are awesome, thank you for sharing your stories.

Great story, and one that I hope many young people can look back on and see what theirs was. The blindness of youth can be such a hard teacher. At least on this one adventure for this young man, you helped avert a certain to be very hard lesson. Maybe he's still riding because he didn't lose all interest from that first long dream trip which could have totally soured him on seeing the country on two wheels. By the way, Peggy's Cove looks fantastic. Thank you.

Thanks for the comment! I do hope I steered him in a direction to be a lifelong biker. I'd have been happy to help him find a suitable bike and get it ready for that trip. If I ever hear from him, I'll make another video to explain how things worked out. Peggy's Cove is a nice place to visit in Nova Scotia. I believe there are many other places in the province that are even more scenic, so I hope to show some of those in future videos. Cheers!
