Unpopular opinion: there's some GREAT stuff going on with that fractured third agate. Even the newer fractures produce a cool visual effect, and the older breaks that have been infilled so the banded chunks are floating in quartz are really enjoyable. All in all, a satisfying chunk of geological kintsugi :)

The rhird "fractured" agate stunned me with a mountain and lake landscape. The fractures looked like sun outlining the mountain tops, and a reflection into a lake just beautiful. I dont know about fract I res like that; i hope the rock doesnt fall apart. Thanks for your channel, I'm a long time viewer.

@3:33 just absolutely beautiful stunning gorgeous looks like a stained glass window just absolutely breathtaking each of those fracture lines has its own story to tell The fracture lines reminds me no matter how broken you are, you are still beautiful Also for anyone who has overcome self harm (myself included) goes to show even with all the scars (fractures) you are a beautiful human being (or in this case a agate) and you have more to offer than you think ❤

i think the fractions in that one geode -- featured at 3:38 -- add to its beauty, rather than taking anything away from it. it's kind of like the japanese art of kintsugi, only not deliberately made. or so i assume.

What happens if you polish some of outside, how would light passing through change the appearance? I keep thinking lots of them could be fruit or seeds of prehistoric times and some sudden change in temperature and their locality changed them to what it is. Petrified forest national Park is in my bucket list

Just wondering what you do with the agates you find? Tumble, cut, face polish or just leave as is? The bigger ones I like to keep as is but don’t know if I should tumble my smaller ones some look better as they were since fractures show up when tumbled. What model of rock cutter you have and how often to change blades?
